Nicola, if you stay with this, eventually you will find something that you find lovely and Andrew will be blowing his nose non-stop. My wife and I are completely different when it comes to heat. She likes some sauces that I think are rather hot. On the other hand, the three or four sauces I keep in the fridge...She won't even touch!!!

Pickles or gherkins? Gherkins are small cucumbers that are pickled, sweet or dill, sour, vinegar or fermented. Gherkin is a size. Cornichons are smaller than gherkins. "Pickles" are generic pickled cucumbers larger than a gherkin.

As always, fun to see you two trying these new flavors. And I will say this much, Prince's is pretty good but there are way, WAY hotter chicken joints in Nashville, in fact I'd probably tell you to avoid most of the hotter chicken spots because if hot is already pushing things for you Nicola, I'd hate to see you try much hotter Nashville hot chicken. There's even a really good mom n pop spot outside Nashville that just has fried chicken (other things as well lol) and their spicy fried chicken is made with ghost pepper (and not the fake crap, or that they skimp on the amount etc.) and it is HOT AF as the kids say. But as always, you guys keep nailing the food vids and that Nicola laugh just makes it all the more spicy (get it?!!?!). Gonna be hitting 10K subs pretty soon already guys :)

Everyone there would turn to see what idiot just did something no one else would do. The chicken was cooked in the same oil all day so by late night it was unbelievable hot. I promise, the next day was memorable and regrettable all at once.

Milk, milkshakes and ice cream all help to cut the heat. I also find that eating french fries after eating spicy food helps cut the heat. When eating Mexican food I'll go for the rice and beans right after biting into something hot. If I'm eating tortilla chips and salsa and the salsa is spicy, i'll eat some plain tortillas to help dissipate the heat. It seems counterintuitive, but the last thing you should do is to drink water, soda or beer. That just seems to spread the spice in your mouth and make it hotter.

Thanks for watching! Andrew Preferred Princes sandwiches because her likes the heat more, I preferred Hattie B's as the heat was lower throughout the range. We both agree, the Bread, presentation and size was better from Hattie B's, but some of this could have just been down to timing.

Coleslaw is commonly placed on hot chicken, pulled pork, and fried fish sandwiches. Dampens heat, helps cut through fat, and adds a crunch. A good homemade coleslaw will stand on its own and have ingredients like green apples to amp it up.
    That wasnt high quality though.

You both love seafood. If you are ever around Charleston, give it a try. Great shrimp dishes and many of the beautiful old homes in the historic waterfront district still fly the British flag, since many of the houses have been past down from generation to generation in British families since before the American Revelotion. Lovely city. Friendly people. Great seafood.

I'm told & believe it's the bread/rolls.. the water they make them with... In my life's journey I've lived in DE, NJ, CA, Seattle & FL for a few years & all the "Philly Cheese" imitators were horrid.. why? the bread/rolls.. you can't plop 100% Prime meat on a Cuban roll & pass it off as a real cheese steak..! & in truth I am more a fan now of Italian roast pork sandwiches & & chicken cheese steaks..! in NJ & locally in Philly, the grilled "Taylor pork roll" sandwich is legendary.. go 50 miles away & no one even knows of it.. Soo good !! travel safe

What is this? The third or fourth time you're trying hot chicken? So, the others weren't hot enough. So now, the strategy is, to find one so hot, that you go into the fetal position? Also, if your going in these places to get the less hot choices, well, that's not really hot chicken anymore is it? Just cut to the chase. Go to the local Police department, and tell them you want to get tased. Pepper sprayed and tased. I'd watch that video for sure. lol.

The thing about spice tolerance to spice enjoyment is that it doesn’t take very long. My father was Scottish American and had a super bland pallet until he discovered Ethiopian food and then started to crave the spice. I did the same with Mexican food. At first, it hurt, then it got enjoyable, and I fully expect in a couple of months, we’re gonna be watching content from you two where you’re popping down those one chip challenges like they’re nothing!
My secret was I found a hot sauce I really liked, and I put it on a bunch of food, just a little bit at a time until I began craving it. Cholula was my gateway hot sauce but siracha and Tapatio are also good ones to try
