During the pandemic I used Everclear as a sanitizer. We couldn’t get any other type of alcohol, and it was cheap. It tore the hell out of my hands… but you could hear the viruses screaming in pain. At least, I imagined I could.
Meh, I used brākleen... it's flamable as well and I use it to help clean my hands after working on my car when my car needs work anyway

Using anything over 70% alcohol as a disinfectant is generally a bad idea. First of all, high concentration alcohol (like this demonic swill) doesn't kill bacteria right off the bat (SHOCKER). The coagulation process is so fast that the walls of the bacterial cells are quickly coagulated and when the outer membrane is coagulated it protects the virus or bacterial cell from letting the spirit solution through so the bacteria and viruses literally live on and you have accomplished nothing. You didn't hear them screaming in pain, it was your scruffy skin asking you to stop torturing it. Womp womp. And of course, like I said, there's the second problem, high concentration spirits are bad for your skin, you shouldn't just pour it on your hands. Next time, use absinthe (I mean, if you want to use a drink as a disinfectant, otherwise just use specialized sanitizers)
lol I drove uber in Philly 30 to 40 hours a week and never bought a bottle of hand santizer and I never got sick. Never felt the need to take those over the top precautions and I traveled to 3 countries in 2021 and went to the beach a bunch in 2020 and l shared weed pipes and drug straws many times and never got myself or anyone else sick, so I guess you fucked your hands up for nothing like a loser when you could have been getting drunk like a winner. (*I'm not a covid denier and got vaccinated but you're still a pussy*)

Coming back to this video after watching TRY for a few years. Just got to say, one of the surest ways to die would be to go out drinking with Clara and attempt to match her drink for drink. I grew up on shine back in the 80's. Was a sailor in the US Navy and drank around the world. I tip my shot glass to that lady, and humbly proclaim her Queen.
I've watched this at least 200 times. Absolutely the best episode.

They took those shots of grain alcohol like absolute champions. I use Everclear as an ingredient; I have tried straight shots of it and it is brutal.
Ever clear is considered medical grade. Hubs keeps it to sertlize instruments, needles, etc. Wilderness medicine.
We used to play shotglass roulette, a bunch of regular vodka shots and one of everclear... pick at random, no sniffing, see who gets their head blown off.
The fact that they all showed up hungover was so incredibly Irish of them.

@@popcornboxing369 Kinda both. Being irish myself, it is pretty common for people to have a really high alcohol tolerance so being considered "A good drinker" makes sense in that regard. A lot of people will attribute that to the fact that they're irish as a pride thing. However when people from other countries think all the irish are is drinking, that really sucks. Kinda depends on if you're irish or not as to whether it's offensive since drinking is only a culture to drinkers. I personally get quite upset when americans who don't know I'm irish try to tell people in front of me that being irish is all about drinking and gambling because they're 1/5th irish.
