Een familiefilm, meest opgenomen door Mevr. Pilon-Oosten in Heemstede. Het preciese jaar is niet bekend. De Bosboom Toussaintstraat werd begin jaren twintig gebouwd. De parkscenes zijn van Park Groenendaal.

nevertheless the people were poor, they allways look very happy in these films (but only the rich were able to make these films on the other hand).

Indonesia masih di jajah pada waktu itu. Semua kekayaan alamnya diangkut ke belanda, sisa kemiskinan dan kebodohan. Ketika merdeka mereka diajari politik pecah belah supaya gampang dikuasai, sampai sekarang warisan itu masih awet, dipakai elit politik haus kekuasaan. Warisan makanan, cagar budaya, ada yang masih terpelihara ada yang rusak.
