- First off I want to thank everybody who has subscribed to the Channel as my Dad and myself appreciate this very much and hope to have alot more videos coming ip in 2024.So my dad and myself like watching Jackmp294.5 as he has alot of classic videos on his channel and check him out.Anyways he did a "Conrail GE C30-7 & C36-7 lead the way in the 1990's." Short video that he put on his channel. So we decided that we can do this train on the layout as gad had his C39-8 on the August 1992 Mainline Modeler.I hope you like the results of this video and please like and subscribe and this helps out alot.Pkease leave a comment if you want and I will get back to you.

Nice work, thanks for sharing!
Thanks for the kind words and glad you enjoyed the video
I really like that you run a variety of trains on your layout - CR, PC, Western Maryland, Reading, etc.
Chris, thanks for watching my videos as we appreciate it and yes we have about every Fallen Flag in our collection.
This reminds me of the days I would enjoy watching the fallen flag coal hoppers rolling past!
Thanks Gary and yes those were the days.Glad you enjoyed the video
Anything Conrail is great.
Hi David yes I agree Conrail is great and you should see some more soon on here
Wow. Cornrail looks so good. Great layout. Greetings Joe 😊
Thxs Joe for the kind words and watching the video
As usual, fantastic! Happy New Year to you, all of the best to you and your family in 2024! Your weathering skills should be for hire as they're that superb!!
Thanks Mark for the kind words as I will pass the message along to my dad on his weathering skills.

Thxs for watching the video and for the kind words
Happy New Year.
Thxs David and the same to you my friend
Beautiful layout and models
Thxs Louis for the kind words and glad you enjoyed the video
Beautiful weathering on the locomotives and cars. Your track details are really something too. It’s a heck of a lot of work but realistic worn rail and ties really make the layout look real! Enjoyed your video
Thanks for the kind words Michael and yes alot of work but was worh it.Glad you enjoyed the video
Thanks for sharing this video 📹 is your layout DCC or analog?
Hi Patrick,Thanks for watching my video and glad you enjoyed it.My layout is analog as it would cost me alot to go DCC
@milepost110models I understand that 💯 I think DCC is way too expensive. Most of my locomotive collection is analog, I love the fact that I don't have to program my units to run.
Patrick,Between my dad and myself I think we have over 300 engines so not cost prohibitive to go DCC and nothing wrong with analog.Then.I hear the horror stoies on DCC no thanks.
Are the C36-7s made with atlas drives and resin shells like the ones made in the past by a few sellers on ebay? I ask because I have a few that I am working on sitting on a shelf next to me as I type this.
Hi Zach,My dad who built these said it was a Atlas C-307 shell with railpower grills on a Athearn drive. Also Bachman is coming out with a c36-7.If you need more jelp on this let me know and I can ask my dad on this. Thanks for watching the video.
Thanks for the reply. I didn't know bachman was making a C36-7, that must have flown under my radar and I read alot of model publications lol! Tell him they look great and your model railroad is excellent. Conrail is the road I grew up with locally so it is always going to be my favorite one. I always enjoy seeing model railroads featuring it and the PRR. I don't think I will need any other help just curious. Thanks again. @@milepost110models
Thxs Zach as I told my dad as he is 80 yrs old but doesnt act or look ot and he said thxs and if you need some info dont be afraid to ask@@Zach_Bloomquist
What analog system do you use?
I use MRC Tech 260 and Chicago Model International Hogger Blue. This is old school stuff from the 90's
@@milepost110models A friend of mine uses Keller Engineering Onboard locomotive sound and control system for his massive S scale layout set in 1919. What year is your layout?
It all depends on what we run on the layout as we have the Fallon Flags all the way up to the end of Conrail NS so no set time frame.I figure to use you imagination when we do videos.I dont talk and let the trains do the talking.
