I love the sentiment of modeling the “boring and mundane”. I do the same. It helps add the realism to HO scale. But of course one or two pieces will stand out in your mundane consist or mundane layout. weather those suckers up and they will look awesome.
Howdy! Absolutely love the ScaleTrains Rivet Counter locos. I'm very new to the hobby, but so far have almost exclusively bought ScaleTrains for my new engines. Loksound decoders are, in my limited experience, top notch. I'm looking forward to really diving into them once I get at least a basic layout put together. Your heritage units look stunning! I think I have seen one of the NS heritage units leading a coal train in Southern Ohio. Nickel Plate I believe it was. Was driving so wasn't able to snag any video or pics. Keeping my eyes open for it in the future! Lots of NS and CSX in my area, so those are primarily what I am focusing on for my modeling. Nicely done and thanks for sharing 🤠
Thanks for the very kind comment! Have to agree, ScaleTrains is definitely up there and offers very complete locomotives. LokSound is my go-to as well and I've put it on everything lately. I got a very quick on-the-fly catch of the Nickel Plate once too, that unit seems to be rather elusive! (It's on one of my Virginia area videos)... Hopefully you get to see more heritage!
