I never knew the cost of tickets were that much. My local amusement park (which is a pretty good sized one, ain't a disney park but still isn't a mid ass county fair either) would cost $30 a day, or only 90 for 3 days. I really thought most of the cost was travel depending on location, and merch depending on how much you ball. But hearing 200 to 300, my enochlophobic ass sure as hell won't ever go to a convention. Also even though I think I would pass most gatekeep check if there were any, I wouldn't want the label of anime fan, I am one but it's a label that I don't want to proudly wear. I have more appreciation for being a nerd for film gear (mostly in audio) and I rather take that label...but I'm broke and it hard to get that label without owning a bunch of gear. Good video!
You both are very correct about the lines. For me, last year there was a panel for CDawg and Ironmouse, and I made it a mission to go to that line about an hour ahead of time. A line already existed... it was in the morning, I went as soon as the gates opened lol
An anime convention video without the words "take a shower" isn't an anime convention video. But honestly a really fun watch guys! Keep up the great work. I've been to 1 anime convention in Birmingham, England, and I've gotta say the ones in the US look way better lol. Hopefully one day...
