    Another negative if we sell Minteh is that it will not put us in good place to tempt youngsters of talent to come to us ongoing if this is their reward, I get its good business financially but not long term for me. all the best.

    Premier league is going downhill fast. What should be a simple game that can be played in the park with jackets used as goal markers where everyone can live the dream, has turned into VAR scrutinising everything and still getting simple decisions wrong, Turned into battle of the accountants instead of Athletes. Who ever is running English football really needs to give their heads a wobble and rethink their life purpose because football is being ruined and sooner or later fans will be walking away because they wont be paying hard earned money for this nonsense. The whole idea of these rules is ridiculous, it's like saying to a tradesman they they need to sell some of the equipment they have bought to ply their trade before they get to the next worksite or be punished because they have invested too much and might be able to take some of the big boys contracts, stick to fitting the odd light switch, and let the big six tradesmen do the full rewires. I would be tempted to hold onto him and take the hit on points. We can't have another season where Miggy is our option on the right. I do think that once the Euros are over, things will start moving. Wilson/Miggy/Longstaff/Tripps can all leave before Minteh.

    Ridiculous PSR situation which needs reviewed and revamped. Rules brought in to protect established clubs who built themselves up without spending restrictions.Transfer windows also need reviewing considering we’ve only had a few weeks to make up the money. I’d like to think there’s discussion between NUFC and PL regarding us finding it difficult to sell. It isn’t the clubs fault players don’t want to leave despite our efforts. Any punishment should consider this.

  • @BoldonBigLad
    @BoldonBigLad 2 дня назад +2

    To say it's infuriating is putting it mildly. The comparison between ourselves and Chelsea is a great one. Chelsea amassed their wealth by spending crazy from 2003, racking up losses like nobody's business. They now have an owner who can barely spell "football" buying any player with a f'kin pulse and pulling strokes Del Boy would be ashamed of.
    The original idea of FFP was to avoid another Leeds and not have directors gambling on the club's future in spiralling debt. But FFS, our owners are richer than the rest of the PL combined! They haven't displayed the vulgarity we've seen from other clubs when they've received a cash injection. Poaching players at crazy wages, buying players just so other clubs wouldn't have them, and then sitting them on the bench. There must be players we can ship out ahead of this lad. Surely the club knew this was coming and could have planned. Sad they have to, but Miggy and Wilson should get us over the £30m line. Selling a great prospect for a 500% increase of course makes sense, but when one of the positions we need to strengthen is right-wing, then selling Minteh is bad business, IMO. Take the points if we have to 2-4 at most
