- Newcastle had considered selling Anthony Gordon to Liverpool as they continue this PSR driven transfer window according to a piece this morning by Craig Hope. In addition, the club have considered a 'swap deal' involving Elliot Anderson and Anthony Elanga.

Clubs outside top 4 should go on permanent strike until these insane rules are changed
As I've said before NUFC should hire the top KC's and take the premier league to court over restraint of trade and in the meantime keep their star players and buy more.

The Premier League wants this to happen, they want us to fail their precious PSR restrictions so they can hit us with everything they've got. They'll not give us a -6 point deduction, they'll fine us and make it harder to meet PSR and we'll get something stupid like a -20 points. Anything to keep us out of European Football.
I would bet that Premier League are the ones who leaked that we might have to sell players, so the Cartel Clubs are circling to see what they can get for the lowest price, they want to pick Bruno, Isak, Gordon up for a cheap deal.

No chance we sell Gordon, Isak, or Bruno. I can see the Elanga for Anderson swap deal, with each one valued at 40M, to solve the PSR dilemma. Elanga's an upgrade on Miggy, and it would allow us to keep Minteh, too. Selling any of the three crown jewels is a travesty.

The concept of TFL is massively flawed. You have Villa and Newcastle, two clubs with wealthy owners scrambling around trying to offload their best players to tick some box. One Manchester club is £1 billion in debt and the other faces 115 charges. Yet both can spend freely, even though these rules are supposedly to prevent accruing too much debt or rule-breaking.
What's gan on is our ( Saudi) owners are obsessed with buying Liverpool and man u pensioners for WAY over market value, totally skewing our ability to compete.

Isak, Gordon and Bruno speculation is all a smoke screen to muddy the waters of compliance for PSR. They have no intention of selling any of these players. It's because if we HAVE to end up taking a points deduction, the punishment will be reduced because we can say we 'tried' to sell these players but the deals fell through. Forest did the same last season.
The club need to cone out and explain to the supporters what the fuck is going on. Are we selling our best players to rivals or not? If the deadline passes today and we haven't sold anyone then we are left with 2 things that have happened. 1. We are in breach of PSR/FFP regs and will be taking a points deduction at some point or 2.
