Tetsuo is one of the most unique commanders I've ever seen. You can go for a spellslinger theme or simply go for big commander damage very fast, or you can do well with a combination as you did in the video.
I like this commander a lot. With my list I ran a number of equipments that are also creatures like Acquisition Octopus, Komainu Battle Armor, Lizard Blades, Rabbit Battery, and The Reality Chip to offset voltron decks issues where your creature is removed and you have nothing to attack your equipment too. I like your list a lot so edited mine to add more spells for the free spell value. Great video.
This honestly seems a bit miserable to have to deal with these players. I miss the days you played games with friends/patrons. Maybe you still do and i'm just missing those videos.
Unfortunate there were so many scoops. The deck was really interesting and I'd love to see it more. Bolting someone or casting a free suspend spell seems pretty tight!
Never seen Tetsou in action!! Great commander! Lotsa value there!! Great games and showing of the deck!! Have t had the pleasure of playing MTGO yet but the amount of players that insta-scoop rivals Arena!! 🤣😂 Appreciate the shoutout again!!
Lmfao, that infernal grasp had scoop city written all over it. As a paper-only player, I can't get over how big of babies mtgo players are. Ty for the sweet (if short) games!
It’s definitely due to the anonymity and the speed with which you can set up another game. They won’t get better if they just scoop at every hurdle though.
heyoo nice games as always ;) Alela is my absolute favorite commander. Tetsuo is cracked, love the equipment approach with grixis spellslingery things.
Tetsuo was one of the more interesting ones to come out of this batch imo. Grixis voltron & spell slinger, it has all the tools to lock the game down, and enough voltron to close it out fairly quickly.
@@tribalkai Hope you had fun making it, cause I wouldn't mind seeing it again. Its two-pronged strategy and the uniqueness of some of the card choices (Mag Theft for instance) could make for some really varied games.
At 4:23 couldn't you have pinged down one of the tokens while attacking? Also the turn prior another line could have been to ping the Alela and pay for the Twister, just thinking about different lines 🤔
Glad you enjoyed it regardless. I’ll try and get a game or two without the scoops. Didn’t want to put too much time into this Commander if people weren’t going to watch it but it’s seeming quite popular.
The fact that you can't play some cards like grafted exo because the opponent its gonna scoop its disgusting.. i hate opponent who scoops.. at the last fnm my opp scooped at 17 life with 2 cards in hand.. against a territorial kavu and 3 cards in my hand and i was a 12 life...
Players just quit way too easily. I’ve played it out against players with full grips and then, at the end of the game, they just reveal to me that it was a hand full of lands they had. Play to your outs, it makes for more interesting games and the odd learning experience.
@@tribalkai same, my ban list is huge. Funny thing is when I am in a multi-player game with someone on my ban list and there is table talk. You don't get to see anything a banned player says so I am reading a half conversion
Yep...
Yeup…
Came here to post this lol

Playing Mana Crypt, Mox Diamond, Serra Ascendant, and Snap Caster Mage, scoops because you play one extra turn spell.
Some players just want to win one sided games with no push back.

I had the lizard blades in there at one point but swapped them out for the brass knuckles. Wanted another 4 drop in there for better free spells.

I will do my best to get some scoop-free games if this video gets any attention.
@@tribalkai if not, all good. I'll still check whatever you post. Love the content!

It’s an unusual one for sure.

That game with Jenson, mizzix mastery would've been a blowout due to drannith magistrate

As stupid as it sounds I still liked this video even with that many scoops.

Varied games! it’s a shame you had some early scoops.
The Jenson deck confused me. I guess he just wanted lurrus wubrg
players on Magic Online are a joke
Yeah it can be pretty annoying. I’ve started banning them now to try and minimise early scoops.

While others were deckbuilding the meta, you were studying the blade .
Nothing personnel kid
Yep...
