I've been playing consistently for 5 years now and this is the first time anyone's ever mentioned additional cost being put on the stack, absolutely brilliant. Thank you for your wisdom.
I agree with your analysis, that 4cc equipment should be the highest cc of your equipments, with maybe 1~2 5cc equipment. This would cover the whole spectrum of extra combat spells to ensure multiple triggers from Tetsuo, or even winning the game from it. After testing some decks, I noticed a few obstacles with Tetsuo. Like any Voltron decks, you need creatures to equip your swords and hammers, and if Tetsuo gets shut down you'll need others who could carry the mantle. The other challenge being that Tetsuo only triggers on attack, and combat isn't always happening against control decks. I use PWs as back-up wincons to force opponents to exit their turtle holes. Given aforementioned issues, I employed PWs like Saheeli, Tezzeret, Ugin, and BOLAS to support Tetsuo. They provide the necessary draw, cost reduction, token creatures, and wincon for the deck.
@@igiveadam It's incomplete, but I can share some details: It's based on my Bolas and Three Egyptian God Cards deck, where the focus being infect and artifact (especially tokens). I use Saheeli and Tezzeret for artifact synergy and secondary wincon, now Tetsuo will take the lead.
@@Cyberium I know it's been some time, but did you do any more experimenting with Tetsuo and come up with something comfortable? I see a lot of different directions online so input would be appreciated!
@@LifeHacksMP Unfortunately, the experience was halted due to Abaddon. I find it much easier to make a spell-sling voltron with Abaddon than with Umezawa since Abby is more versatile, though I added Tetsuo into Abby's deck also. The idea with Tetsuo mixing with Bolas was nice till I realize Umezawa requires a lot more instant/sorcery to work out; another reason why Abby is more versatile.

Yes! Glad you got something new here!
I'm a year late but this was an amazing video

Yes! Great analysis on the support side of things. Tetsuo may be a loner (I have no idea. I haven't read the story) but he needs pals!
Have a link to your deck? Adding the PWs sounds interesting!
