Hey, we want welcome back to another video today. I am super excited that we are taking a look at what is the best fifth wheel toy hauler in the RV industry! This is the Alliance Valor 40v13 there’s so many things that I love about this fifth wheel and it does combine the perfect combination of quality price… If you’re in the market for a fifth wheel toy hauler, and look no further than the alliance!

Matt and Will, you Love Alliance, but you need to do a little more research on the units when you show them off. I have a 42V13. The on-board air compressor will not air up the camper's tires. Suggested air PSI is 110, the 12-volt compressor will only go to about 90 PSI. Solar: that unit has the basic solar - 2 panels on the roof and a single battery (seen by only having the solar charge controller, no inverter in the upper nose storage}. The Solar Plus has 3 panels on the roof and three batteries and a 3000 watt inverter. Fuel station: 2 30 gallon tanks, front one for generator gas only. Rear tank is for toys pumped by the station you opened. You can carry 60 gallons to run to the generator, you just have to transfer from the rear tank to the front. 3000 pound carry in the garage.
That’s awesome, I could live in that comfortably with my dogs.
Matt i believe they intent t have the flip up counter serve a dual purpose. Under the primary bedroom bed there were to stools to be used with the flip up.

I have an alliance 36v11. The floor plan is slightly different but here are my 3 pros and cons of the toy haulers in general (alliance).
Cons:
1/2 bath is wasted space. Just put a urinal in there and call it a day!
The other bathroom SAYS the shower is 30”x 48” but the walls move inward at the Morton making it only about 24” wide. And the cabinet hangs over the sink so it’s really hard to brush your teeth.
The “air compressor” is a joke. It will NOT inflate your trailer tires or your truck tires nits for ATVs and bikes and pool toys. It is really hard to get enough pressure to blow out your water lines to winterize the unit. Most people buy a different one and why have 2 air compressors. This is just a sales comic in my opinion.
PROS: the front 2/3s of this unit was 100% what we were looking for. The 11’ garage was just bonus space. (We are 2 people traveling with 2 cats.). The garage is a lot of space and we use it for work and now have e-bikes to haul around INSIDE with us.
So much storage! But we don’t have adjustable shelves in our pantry.
Lastly the solar power, we got the Super solar package with 960 w of solar panels and 300 ah batteries. The fridge, TVs and most of the outlets are all run from 12v. The only things you can’t run for long (or at all) on 12v are the 3 AC units, the convection oven, the fire place and the washer/dryers.
I don’t love the glass doors on the rear but do love the patio so I may create a canvas room back there using an 8’ square clam tent. I may also make an interior wall to replace the glass from canvas with clear plastic windows and screen material and simply remove the glass. It is super heavy (as are the shower doors. Thinking about getting a curving shower rod for that for more space inside the shower and better knee space in the toilet.
There were bar stools under the bed of the unit in this video. We also have bar stools and a HUGE BAR in the 36v11.

as for the door panels over the couch they could have keep the carpet the same shape as it is all that need do was make the middle door smaller and just make the inserts either side of the doors wider that would give the doors clearance t would have made no difference inside the cabinet but least the doors will work properly
It doesn't matter if it's the 30A20 or one of the bigger ones, Alliance makes great toy haulers. Speaking of the 30A20, please find one and review it. This is a great RV and I agree that you will need a one ton dually to tow it. 👍
I like the dump valves near the axles. I have a hump over my side walk coming into my driveway and my current toy hauler has a dump valve half way between the front of the trailer and the axles and it drags on the ground.
Agree on the location of the waste water hook-up. However, from what I have see the actual pull handles are hidden somewhere underneath the frame/behind the skirting, and absolute show-stopper for me. Really like the Grand Design arrangement (pull handles and low point drain valves located inside the wet bay).
The power cord should be on a reel

The drawers in the bedroom are very shallow. Not much storage. Try putting a folded tshirt in there to see how bad it is. No place to store towels in the bathroom. Under the sink is not a place I would ever store a towel. The garage is nice.
The 2023 Alliance Valor 37V13 is by far my favorite! Max GVWR is well within what my new, 2024 Chevy 3500HD with gas engine and 10-spd Allison can pull. > Residential-size shower, King or Queen Bed, Comfy, 3-cushion theater seats that put you in front of a well-placed entertainment center! A large, 13' garage big enough for a home office, storage and toys! Best of all, what you did not mention.. Alliance products are Warranted for "Full-time" use. Not sure any other's can make that claim.

Hi Matt and Wil! My dislikes are the cabinets about the theater seats too hard open with them cornered instead of put straight. Don’t like toilet being too tight. That’s all my dislikes. My likes are the shower, the bedroom, the garage and patio. And I like the fact it’s an Alliance. I like the entertainment outside. Thank you Matt and Wil!

I realize I’m late to the party. I own a 2021 40v13.
The sewer hook up is definitely a pain. Dumping means reaching up under the slide for the 2 back tanks. I don’t have to crawl under, but it isn’t ideal.
The old shower with the teak seat is far better than the new shower. The old 4 burner range is also much nicer than the little rv size unit they started using during the supply chain crisis. They need to switch back.
The cabinets above the sofa don’t matter. You learn day 1 that you open one at a time. I’m not sure why you’d open all 3 at once anyway.
The back bathroom is too small.
The sterling tires lasted 2 years/20,000ish miles. I replaced with Goodyear Endurance, but the Coopers would be perfect.
I don’t know why they deleted the subwoofer behind the sofa, but it really isn’t that great anyway.
I’m looking forward to the 44v14, but the only other camper I am considering purchasing in the future is a Luxe at roughly 3 times the cost. I’ll probably buy the 44v14 at some point, cut out and replace the range, and install quartz countertops. The epoxy countertops are fine in the bathrooms, but not great in the kitchen.
They definitely should have considered a dinette since they have a 3 person couch, couches in the garage maybe, and limited space by the kitchen for seating.
There is a supplied folding table with these units. Dinette in the garage with the folding seating. I have the sister unit to this, 42V13, and I have the dinette. I removed the table and replaced it with a side to side table that seats 2 because there was not room for people to eat at the tiny table that came with the unit.
I prefer the Alliance Valor 42v13 with the back deck and the side patio.
I have that camper and love the side patio (42V13)

Looked like there might of been stools under the bed for breakfast bar.Ugly cupboards above couch.
Great seating position in front of t.v.
A better 💩🚽 pooping position be better but was close to passing & not a deal breaker.A garage of 11ft be enough.
You are not getting a stackable washer/dryer in that spot unless you want to block those switches. If you ever want 2 people to cook at the same time like me and Darci do then that kitchen is way to small. No ice maker. Don’t like the doors coming from both the hallway and bedroom to go into the master bathroom. Tables next to the bed in the master are to small.
Re stackable washer/dryer: this appears to be a general problem for most toy haulers. However, my preference is for a combo unit (start it before you go out and come back to clean and dry laundry).

Why am I always wishing more thought from the folks that design these things could be seen in the final product? I get that some limitations might be required due to lack of production capability or flexibility, but can't they reasonably guage what people would expect to see in one of these things? (the really poor 3 door storage design as an example) I'm wondering about these garages too...how about 8 or 9 feet? Isn't that still enough room for just about everything? That would give them another 4 or 5 feet to hit the kitchen/living area out of the park I would think. I want one of these things, but I'm not ready yet. Lord knows there's no shortage of them to look at.
You do realize that the garage is for hauling vehicles, right? My relatively small 4 seat side by side fits snugly in the 13’ garage. My friend has a 40v13 and his 11’ long chopper slides in next to his 50” wide Razor. There are plenty of toy haulers with 9, 10, and 11 foot garages. I believe alliance even makes a couple. Maybe you should look at some of those.
