Hi Tamika. This is Hadiyah. I so desperately wish you were c9ming back to your own salon. Hou are the only stylist who truly focus on healthy natural hair and i miss you lol
Tamika, even coming out of a sew in you recommend we also detangle on wet hair with conditioner? I was always taught to fully detangle before shampoo to avoid potential locing of the hair.
Yes. This is the very way I detangled my clients hair when taking down their sew in. There is a technique to it. In the video I am not saturating my hair as if I’m going to wash but I am spraying it with water and holding my hair in a downward motion. Adding a conditioner ensures you won’t have breakage and damage. That’s why it’s important to take sections and never detangle as a whole.
A menopause coach suggested to ask your doctor about using bioidentical hormone replacement. It's more costly but more beneficial than the synthetic hrt.
Thanks but the bioidentical is the exact one that I received. I talked about it in another video. And yes. It was costly. It cost my pockets and my hair 😪
@SimplyTamika Sorry to hear that. In fulfillment of Bible prophecy Jehovah God through His Son Jesus promises to restore all things back to perfection on earth including our human bodies, like our hair and righteous mankind will enjoy it forever in paradise on earth under heavenly kingdom rule coming at any time now (Psalms 37:11,29;83:18; Matt 10:30; 24:3,14,42,44; John 17:3;Rev 21:3-6) Thanks for your response 🙏🏽💜💐😀

Oh man that Felecia brush is HORRIBLE on my hair. I returned it right away! I like the FHI Unbrush and just bought the Denman D38 detangling paddle brush. I have yet to try it though. I have 4b natural hair that is very tangle prone.
I always deep condition after a shampoo. You can make a regular’s condition your deep conditioner by cover your hair with a plastic cap and sitting under the dryer for 25 minutes. You don’t condition twice.
My problem with my daughter's fine hair is once I detangle and then shampoo, it completely tangles again. I end up having to detangle all over again. She's extremely tender-headed with seborrheic dermatitis so touching her scalp is extremely painful due to the inflammation. I don't have a clue how to help better detangle.
You could also twist or braid her hair up and wash it like that. It really helps and that is a technique I use to stop hair from getting tangles again.
I have a question on air drying vs blowing drying after the shampoo & condition...There are some professionals here on RUclips that differ on which method is best for our hair and I'm confused 🥴...What is your opinion on the better method?...If you don't mind
In this situation there will always be preferences. I will say that you have to do what works best for your hair. If you can air dry your hair with no issues then by all means that's the route your should go. If your hair doesn't do well air drying and you wind up with lots of single strand knots and damage from it, then blow dry. I will say however blow drying to stretch hair tends to help a lot of people retain length because it also helps smooth the hair and prevent the single strand knots and breakage that occurs a lot of times with air drying. I am in the process of experimenting with air drying and I will say that my hair has its challenges with it. I'll keep experimenting to figure out exactly what methods help my hair to thrive. It is absolutely nothing wrong with blow drying if that is what your hair prefers.
Why would you put conditioner on hair that hasn't been washed yet. Your hair has been up for weeks, so shouldn't you be washing your hair first before putting a conditioner on it?
You clearly missed the whole point of this video. She’s using the conditioner as a PRE-POO and detangler. People with kinky curly hair can’t just go straight to shampoo after being in protective styles. You need to detangle first and remove the shed hairs or you risk your hair matting together when you wash it. After you pre-poo then you wash it out.

Awwww. Thank you ☺️
This demo is very convincing.
Thanks for your video. I mixed avocado and aloe vera and strained it through a cheese cloth for my daughter's hair. This mixture works too.
Your hair looks so healthy and springy ❤
I can't wait for your products to come out so I can try them.
Awwww. Thank you ☺️ Everything is launching on Feb. 1st.
What State are you in? You are a great teacher and really know your stuff. LEGIT!
Much appreciated. I'm in Georgia but I am no longer behind the chair.

It is a rather stiff brush compared to the other brushes like it. I am interested in the Denman brush you mentioned. I am going to look it up.
@@SimplyTamika It's fantastic, you won't regret getting it.
Hi Tamika, after shampooing, do you use a regular conditioner and then deep conditioner or just either/ or?

Do you have any damage from the bands?

Hello, did you still use amino acid hair treatment please ?
No. I am actually growing that out.

That would be considered dirty, sweaty hair.
