You're a good stylist. It looks like you are so gentle with her hair. I remember when I tried going natural the first time. This was back when it was less popular... Over a decade ago. The lady who did my hair knew nothing about natural hair. I was in pain as she roughly detangled my hair. My neck hurt as she yanked my hair as I was left to hold my head in place. Once she even put a mild relaxer in it to "make it more manageable". It's so good to see the natural hair world is booming now. I had no knowledge or experience in taking care of my natural hair because I'd been relaxed my whole life. I ended up getting really sick and had to receive one dose of Chemo. All of my hair came out. When It started growing back, I didn't want to put another relaxer in it. I had no idea what I was doing and the stylist was so hush-hush about what she did to my hair when she flat ironed it calling it her "technique." I'm glad teachers/stylists like you exist. Yes, you teach us how to do this at home, but I would be more than willing to go to you to get my hair done if you were in my area.
I am relaxed currently armpit length and yes we want your teaching they have helped me as well as my natural hair daughter who's 4B almost waist length at 6yrs old
Excellent tutorial! Your hair line is the business, I purchased the deep conditioner and am I pleased to let you know I was highly impressed. It was moisturizing, my hair felt soft and shiny, and the overall health of my hair felt good. Great job with the silk press, your client has beautiful hair.
Her hair is so beautiful! and so long and healthy! Great job, Tamika! A lot of these stylists nowadays, I hear don't like doing long hair. I have literally read stories of women who have long, thick natural hair and they are told by stylists that their hair was too long or too thick. Ps, I don't know how I wasn't subscribed to you already! You have just gained a new subscriber!
I wish you lived nearby so you could do my hair. She has a beautiful texture. I will be buying your products. My hair is very, very fine textured and weak. HeLP❤ my strands are thinner than thread.
Tamika, I am so eger to try your products! Put i have to be very careful about certain chemicals/additives. Is Stearlalkonium Chlorine in any of your hair care products? This immediately over softens my hair starts it to immediately shed.😢 Please let me know.
Hi Gloria! Thanks for your interest in my products. My products don’t contain stearalkonium chloride. The conditioner does contain steartrimonium chloride. Steartrimonium chloride is a stabilizer that can also be found in skin products, hair conditioners, and other hair care products because of its anti-static properties. It functions as an anti-static and preservative that can modify the pH of the formula.
Shoot! Do you by chance know of any excellent stylist like yourself in Minneapolis. I really need someone that is all about hair health, education and growth.
I did detangle the hair before washing. I mentioned it in the video. However, especially with long hair, it tangles again during the shampoo. As you can see, her hair is still long and healthy as are my other clients using these very techniques.
Thanks. I certainly understand what you are saying but no one complained when I mentioned Joico or Redken or Paul Mitchell in every video. Why is it always a problem when someone promotes themselves? If I don’t do it who will? I believe it’s the perfect platform especially since I am actually using my products on people’s hair.
Beautiful
It's always good to see Dimples! Her hair has made a complete turnaround since her setback.
Thanks 🙏🏾 😊Yes it has!
I can clearly see the difference with you’re products on this video compared to past videos. Her hair is “very” silky!!!!!! Way to go👏🏾🙌🏾
Thank you so much!

I prefer the teaching. Your deep conditioner is amazing and your daughter and her hair are beautiful. The smell of the products is great as well.

What styles does she do when she is not silk pressed

My Revair felt like it was burning my scalp. Does anyone else’s get too hot on your scalp (or just mine??)?
You can’t hold it on one spot for too long. Try moving it side to side and up and down so you won’t get hot spots.
@@SimplyTamika thanks
Im all for education!
Greetings how are you.. great job
Hello! I’m doing well. How are you?
Where are you located?
In Georgia but I am no longer doing hair. I’m retired.
Shoot! Do you by chance know of any excellent stylist like yourself in Minneapolis. I really need someone that is all about hair health, education and growth.
4:00 did she just say 4D hair is that a thing 🧐😭
Because it's not 4c hair
Detangling should before washing. Hair is weakest when wet, using a brush is a recipe for hair braking, when wet. .
I think damp is the best option dry is 😫✌🏾✌🏾

I love watching your videos, but there's too much talking about your products these days. It's sounding like a infomercial.

@@SimplyTamika "no one complained when I mentioned Joico or Redken or Paul Mitchell in every video", so well said!
I have the original RevAir and my hair never comes out this straight or smooth. I use my settings on 6 or 7.
Hmmm. I wonder why? I am going to do a full tutorial video soon including troubleshooting your technique.
