I will be visiting in June, on my way back from Chillingham Castle. Can’t wait to see this lovley quaint village. I’m from the United States. My heart ♥️ belongs to Scotland, I can’t explain it but I feel like it’s Ho e to me. Thank you for sharing. 🙏❤️
Enjoy your visit!
I visited Blanchland in 1978. . Exactly how I remember this beautiful village. Timeless. 44 years is a lifetime to us but a blink of an eye to this village.
As I live within approximately 20 minutes drive from the village, I used to often dine at the Lord Crewe Arms, my (late) father in particular loved to go there in fact he would often cycle and became well known to the villagers. It is exactly as this video has shown, a beautiful unspoiled location set in the most beautiful countryside. Thank you for posting this video it was lovely to watch.
It was lovely to film! 😊
What a lovely story I enjoy it very much and the filming of the video.👍👍👍👍👍👍
Thank you so much! 😊

Happy to come across this as I worked there in the early 70's as a chef spent many anight Ln the crypt bar
Glad to give you a little bit of nostalgia!
A friend used to live there for a few years then moved south. We stayed overnight and I didn't 'feel' any ghosts which I usually do in haunted places. There was a cafe connected to an art gallery I think. This was fifteen years ago. Only a small shop for necessities so I couldn't imagine driving miles over the moors in winter to do the weekly shop! The dogs splashed in that river which often floods. I recall driving out of the village and there was a huge mansion with a helipad that was owned by some Arabs. Was told most of the cyclists on the road were professionals training. A hard slog going up and down those hills!
I played cricket there many times.i loved going to play there ..a beautiful timeless village..❤😊
Very interesting. Thanks for upload.

love story's like this
Watch out for my Lowther village and castle stories in a couple of weeks.
This lady ghost was sent away by my cousin years ago. She's visited with her colleagues. Sent her to a higher place. Not in torment any more. The landlord wasn't happy.
Wow!!
I'd like to read ur information u says. From reincarnated as following King 👑 James of Scotts
I’m sorry. I don’t understand…
"A unique Idyll"?
To live generation after generation as Tenants of those who only acquired the houses and lands you and your ancestors by slaughtering and plundering the same land.
You have a UNIQUE understanding of the term "Idyll".
Makes me wonder how you would react if you suddenly came across a Slave Plantation in the Modern World!
Thanks for watching! 😊
I assume you’re a person of very high moral virtue to be in a position to so harshly judge those of the past. I think it’s far more likely you’d have been just like them had you lived then - since you follow today’s mob without a question or even a hint of self knowledge or reflection.
Lmao my dude get a grip
Poor Michael. That chip on your shoulder is screaming.
UNDERSTAND THIS.
To make fact free sweeping generalisations is what teenagers do until they grow up, but of course some never do.
Therefore you have just made an embarrassing twat of yourself.
Perhaps one day, if you receive some education in history, you will be able to write an analysis containing evidence and facts.
Until then..........start with classes in English literacy, basic level.
Jeez man
