I'm coming back to this Halloween episode after two years.... Back then I was deeply depressed and slept no more than 2hrs a night. But I was watching this episode back to front as some sort of soothing medicine... Thank you
How wonderfully spooky, made even more by Robin in his voice that has both the perfect pitch and timbre to add that certain something to make these stories even spookier. Absolutely love it !!

I'd love you too do a episode on Berkeley castle .I think you would be Brilliant .Such history there I love the place .Take care .Ps loving the ghost stories.
Robin, I love these stories, and have listened twice to the no-commercial audio version I purchased, so thank you. I especially enjoyed the Sarah story. One question I have is this...Such stories are either a) Entirely fictional, b) Based upon longstanding local folklore, or c) A direct account of a personal encounter with the supernatural. I happen to believe that the “C” category is much more prevalent than a lot of people believe, which always seems to reverse once they have had an encounter of their own. So, the question is, which category are these Stories? Thanks again, and keep up the great work!
Dear Robin, good morning. You looked t e r r i f i c at midnight under your magic lamp and with your magic book .Thank you kindly!!! Happy Halloween.Enjoy your weekend.Greetings from Moscow, Russia.🇷🇺
Sir Robin you are a Light in a dark world, thank you. Disregard the google account name ...my blood is of Liddesdale and Dartmoor. "Don Tarquinio was prepared to play many roles but a vacuum carpet cleaner was not one of them😆
Not strictly accurate to say that Charles I was put to death 'to deter Royalist uprisings'. The sentence came as a result of a very long and complicated legal battle which would certainly have ended with Charles I being reinstated as King if he had only accepted the authority of Parliament and that he was subject to the will of the people. His own stubbornness was the essential cause of his beheading.
I could listen to this gentleman all day long . He is a brilliant storyteller❤❤❤
Ditto
Absolutely

The story ends with her eyeballs falling out! That's awesome. It reminds me of the Smokers by Steve Martin.

I’m listening to this on the last day of 2020. Loving this man’s delivery and voice who sounds very much like Sir John Hurt

I never knew Reading was in the Cotswolds?
I think it means live reading as in reading a ghost story rather than the town Reading.😁 Lol.
@@scottb4697 I will never learn, I went to a Reading Festival once but couldn't concentrate on my book because of all the loud music.
P,s, excuse the auto cue mate not blistering damb computers they think they know all it was to listern! Cheers olde mate from Australia
Nothing builds tension like constant commercial breaks.
I didn’t know the coach-de-Bauer was part of the English folklore.

Very interesting but the guy should at least amble down to the shop and buy paper to get the poor bugger back in the 21st century.

Oh boy, the Brits and their beheadings. 😵
