Such a wonderful way to spend an autumn afternoon in east Texas, where it is actually cold at 40 degrees F! Windy, but clear, making wonderful chicken soup and home made bread as the late afternoon sun slants through the windows. Thank you for your hard work. You don't know how much it is appreciated!
I'm an old fellow now, living in Scotland. However, I spent my youth working on a dairy farm just outside Stow on the Wold. I remember chats in the Bell Inn pub regarding local ghosts and phantoms. These videos bring back great memories of stories told on winter nights next to a roaring fire over a pint (or two) with fellow workers. The Cotswolds I found to be a beautiful area with the friendliest of people. I have fond memories of my time there.
I really enjoyed the Haunted tales and places of the Cotswolds and I liked the great scenery as well Thank You and have a wonderful Halloween night in the Cotswolds.🇬🇧🇬🇧🛡️🇬🇧🇬🇧
Thank you for including Algernon Blackwood's "Ancient Lights"! It tis a favorite of mine. Your reading is the finest that I have heard. The including of the video enactment is appreciated. The phenomenon of "spiritual realms" interpenetrates our earthly realm. All proved in The Biblical Scriptural accounts.
Same here...2022 & 2023 versions, both!! I'm so hoping Robin's health will allow he, Ross and the pups to go out and film 2024's version. Robin's had some health issues since late last year into Chritmas 2023.
THIS, is yet another brilliant reason, why I do not need/watch TV anymore! Keep up the wonderful work Robin and all, love all your videos, ghosts or not!
How wonderful is this special Halloween treat! Thank you for all of your explorations and thrilling tales. Sending my best ftom Memphis, Tennessee, USA. Bless you.
just discovered your videos last night before Halloween. bless the energy you have to make all of this production.... i really enjoyed it. - greetings from canada.
Trick or treat? This is definitely a 'treat'! This is a classic and should become an annual tradition. Love it. Kind regards from British Columbia, Canada.
Well, I ended having to work late, so missed the Livestream. But I tuned in when I got home and thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it! In fact, I'm about to rewatch it again. Halloween greetings, Robin and Ross, from Northwestern Illinois in the US.
Merry Samhain, Robin and crew! Greetings from Ireland and thank you for the bumper pack of ghost stories! I opted out of the livestream when it was glitching, so now I can listen while I work tomorrow!
I worked at Shuckburgh Hall for years! I was wondering if you were related to them... It terrified me there, had some really spooky experiences and I still have actual nightmares about the house. Love all your content, have been watching for a couple of years now 😊 thanks for what you do
Finally its " my time" and i can watch my fave yearly story! Last night i took my kids out trick or treating, then busy all day, but now...i can catch up!!🎉❤ Great work as always!!
Many thanks Robin for your Xmas podcast on the haunted stories in the old settlements around the Cotswold, and brining a haunted story relating to your own family in times of old brings a very interesting twist to these tales. Happy Xmas Robin & Ross.
God The adverts in this is terrible 😡 I had to download it so i could listen to your stories without getting interrupted by them....glad I did because they were awesome 😍 thanks for your time in uploading this fantastic podcast for all of us Robin 🎃👍
Hi Robin & Ross, thank you for this fantastic video of haunted Cotswolds had lovely evening pondering over the tales, very best wishes keep up the great work!
Yes, we all enjoy your talks and buy the books plus audiobooks and we get involved with your zooms to show our support, but occasionally it would be nice to see some reply’s to the numerous comments left by your devout’s. Happy Halloween 😱🗣️and thank you for your talks.
I have always wanted to see a comparison of haunted stories concerning our two civil wars. They were centuries apart, but both are filled with haunts and sorrow.
I've jusy discovered your channel recently and I am mourning having missed seeing this on Samhain. I'm a fan now and do look forward to the next Samhain special. Do please consider a small special for Beltane or Midsummer? Your work and dedication is very much appreciated. And the lovely spooky stories are a treasure. Thank you kindly for it all sir. ☺️
This made my Halloween! As it always does! Have you ever thought of narrating War of the Worlds or classic horror, Frankenstein and Dracula? You would be tremendous! Thank you again.
It means that the properties are so old they are protected by law. For instance a grade 2 listed building means that you can't change anything outside the building. It has to remain the same. If it was a thatched roof, you can't change it to slate, it has to be replaced with thatch. But you might be able to change things internally aslong as its like for like with permission of course. Grade 1 means that the whole house is protected and nothing can be changed unless its under supervision by English heritage and they tell you what tradesman you can use and it's all done correctly. It can be very expensive. Then it's all checked out to make sure it's been done properly.
As an adventure me and My Fiance want to do the tour ourselves (following Evans) Robin is amazing a storytelling Legend to us. I see myself ...perhaps buying him a measure of Scotch? ....and chatting about little Burroughs In the time capsules that are The Cotswolds of England.
The room in the tower is one of my favorites because i find it spooky but somewhat hilarious. Baring yhe precognition, the story is like "Hey" "Hey" "Ah Christ your grandma's ugly as hell." "Ay you know what you're right" *Painting bleeds* *Ay lets just ignore that* "Your dogs pissed." "Ay he does that." *Punches out a vampire* "Ah Christ ypur grandma's a vampire painting" "Ah shit that explains a lot actually." Also the name Jack Stone makes me picture the Lego character.
My mum lived of stow on the wal and as a child around the campfire 🔥 looked down saw the boots legs of a man she froze as she looked up to see a man curly long hair yrars later was shown a photo of charles 1 said it was him ❤

Seems like A nice man to have a pint with.
Outback wear for the Upback.💕 I’m absolutely building a wall map of places to see when I at last get to cross the Pond, largely based on your posts.
That last ad was only *THREE MINUTES AFTER THE PREVIOUS INTERRUPTION!* (30:10)
Awesome Stories. I gotta say.
Love your stories. Thank you. You sound just like John Hurt or he sounds like you 😆 a great voice for storytelling either way!
This made my Halloween! As it always does! Have you ever thought of narrating War of the Worlds or classic horror, Frankenstein and Dracula? You would be tremendous! Thank you again.

Great voice! Got that John Hurt gravel!
Would you mind explaining to us this Grade I, Grade II level properties? We don't have this designation in the US. Thanks a million!:)❤

If it was a thatched roof, you can't change it to slate, it has to be replaced with thatch. But you might be able to change things internally aslong as its like for like with permission of course.
