@@Hero_Of_Old PlayStation Quiz. The title of the video is Guess the top answers in our PlayStation Quiz. It’s comedic gold from the 20th minute on. Lol
I think the thing that sets Access apart from other gaming channels like WC Gaming and the like is the skits and bits. It feels less like rushing through a script to get the video out and more like passion and care was put in. My other favourite channels are the OutsideXbox and Outside Xtra
Same here. I am also subscribed to OutsideXbox and OutsideXtra. The difference between them and Playstation Access is that in Outside Xbox you see videogames from all platforms, even exclusives. Here in Playstation Access that never happens. If they mention a game that's on Xbox is because it is on Playstation too. They never mention Mario, Kirby, or Halo. If it is not on Playstation, it doesn't exist. Also, it's a bit tiring to see a From Software and/or Skyrim game in every single top they make. But even with all this, I keep watching Playstation Access. Why? Because they are very entertaining. In fact, what I expect more from Christmas time is not Christmas eve or any present I might get. What I expect the most is Christmas Maze.
Hiding in long grass does work in real life...I remember half an hour of trying to find my daughter who was successful hiding in long grass near Glastonbury. She was quite small at the time but even to this day I have no idea how she did it.
I was gonna say.. it should work for the most part. Animals are trickier though o-o Better choice would have been hiding in plain sight like in Skyrim lol.
I suppose it depends on the length and thickness of the grass and how big or small the person hiding is, also how quiet and still they can be. Video games make it so you can hide even if you're very clearly visible though lol.
Honestly, I'm just glad that a smartphone with Google Maps lets you get the equivalent of one of those helpful this-way-to-the-next-objective arrows in real life.
Fast traveling is always really fun to do in gaming since it gives you shortcuts to areas in seconds with the power of teleporting Man do I wish fast traveling with that logic exists in real life.
Being awake and active for days without sleep. Modern games have added "heavy breathing" to signify exertion, but characters always just keep going without any problems.
Falling asleep immediately and for exactly as long as you want whenever you want. Also, standing still for ours to skip time until the next interesting thing starts and having it feel like only a couple of seconds.
Lockpicking isn't really all that hard tbh, granted there are locks designed to be pick resistant with security pins etc, but there are also some (looking at you masterlock) that are a joke and can literally be picked by jiggling a paperclip in the lock.
What a fantastic vid. Loved the departure from just the talking heads! Favourite bit has to be Rosie bouncing off the table. Would be great to see some more of this in the future. I’m constantly surprised and delighted by the creativity from the Access Team. Makes me happy!
6:50 I'd say that most locks in circulation today are actually *easier* to pick in real life than in video games. With shims, wave rakes, and a few skeleton keys, you can get through FAR more locks than you'd expect - especially those that grant access to nominally public facilities, such as office buildings or fenced off land.
I felt that with Kingdom Come: Deliverance. The lockpicking was outrageously hard to the point I never took anything that didn't rightfully belong to me (apart from the things I returned in a slightly altered way).
It’s ok when you level it up and get used to it. Your best bet is to just pick a village at night, wait for everyone to go to sleep and just pick every lock you can. Or the little farm you live in at the beginning with that baker and his granddaughter, the tutorial box he shows you can be repeatedly picked if you have enough picks. Just practice. What a great game though.
If you're going to comment on the climbing then I will say you really can hide in long grass, if it's actually grass and not a tiny coppiced tree 😅. From experience doing butterfly surveys. Will make a lot of rustling though so still wouldn't be good for stealth.
I'm travelling now, and man I wish real life has that recent well designed video game thing were you DON'T need to constantly consult a mini map to see where you are. Instead, subtle video game cues (e.g. lights) or guiding winds leads you right where you are. There's no getting lost in the middle of Bradford with a system like that
I was literally playing that same widemaw quest in HFW today and feeling exactly this ridiculous. Of course, the nerfed agility of Aloy brought me right back down to earth pretty quick.
Well I actually went paintballing once at a mountaintop and long grass worked well😅 I know because we use it for an ambush, it was pretty tall grass though😬
5:10 I loved the toilet in an Animals den (where you fight Rhino) in Cyberpunk 2077, where you walk to a toilet and find the word "BROKEN" written on the wall behind one of them in brown...

I noticed that lately Rob has been mentioning Skyrim a lot more often than before. Even more often than he mentions Metal Gear, which I enjoy as I can relate to it better than to MG. Maybe Dave needs a new tally list :)
A little bit of a unconventional entry to this list but: going to places i can't go in real life, i feel like i'll never be able to visit Japan so i go there in GhostWire Tokyo and Yakuza (the Yakuza series is my favourite game franchise of all time because of the lovable characters and the settings, Sayama, from Yakuza Kiwami 2, is one of my "videogame girlfriends" Rosie hehe)
I also love being able to go to all kinds of places that you'd otherwise need money, planning, time, and effort to go to.
