DSTORQUE I've listened to that solo over and over and over; if you know who this guy is and you had your back turned there's no way possible you could mistake who's playing that guitar. I too kept smiling non stop. Lynch is brilliant!

Easily noticeable that this is Doug’s song. His lyrics, bass lines & style. Can be mistaken for a Kings X song. Love those guys & their sound.....
Inspiring, terrifying , amazing.
I would have fallen over from a holy shit moment if Lynch played that solo on the 12 string. I kept thinking is he gonna do it? he won't do it. he might do it..i would freak if he did it..come on fuckin do it!! and...........no dice. A true jam by a line up of guy's i don't think i would have ever seen play together. Doug seems to have that effect on people.I am ( I have never used this word before and probably never will again) blessed to have crossed paths with King's X and anything they have touched.
Even though the video shows Dug playing a 5-string bass, he actually pulls out the old 12-string bass on this track. Both 12-stringers sound so good together. One of the best songs I've heard in years.

Have you not watched any of the videos on known musician/entertainers who were professing to be Christian yet behave/d as Satanists? george lynch used to play at a full gospel church and plays with michael sweet and his daughter was engaged to the guitarist in as they lay dieing which had christian lyrics, and george said he is a athiest who debated tim lambesis over theology. dug does sing gospel lyrics sometimes, ray luzier prays with brian head welch and fieldy in korn. b

I don't know where I've been, just found this two days ago. Ordered both KXM CDs. Probably the best project Lynch has done. What a powerful combination of players. This stuff is really fresh. dUg has an amazing voice and his lyrics are thought provoking. Bought King's X Dogman CD as well. Forgot how good King's X was, back in the day of real music.

This is a great band.
Just to add to my previous message, it seems that George Lynch is underrated. It's hard to understand why. He has tremendous chops but he's also very tasteful which is important. He's not self-indulgent like other guitarists.

Perfect musical chemistry with this trio...hell yeah...the stars were perfectly aligned. Two great KXM releases...here's hoping for a third....but Dug, please don't let go of Kings X. Ty's new release "Alien Beans" and Jerry Gaskilll's "Love and Scars" are both gems. RatPak is just kicking ass with so many great bands. I want a RatPakRecords t-shirt if can find one.

i kinda really like this, what a nice versatile combo of musicians :)
Not as immediate as the first two singles, but damn those gorgeous King's Xy harmonies in the chorus and bridge, and Lynch absolutely slaying with that solo, this is going to be a monster if the rest of the tracks are on par with these tree tunes ! Sweet baby Jesus i am praying to the God's of the Church of Rock n Roll these guys can tour this band, this shit is just way to god damn good to just be kept as a studio project !!!!

I met Dug several times when he played in Ontario. Told him he was the best at his craft. In 2017 he is 67 years old. What will you be accomplishing at 67? Here is sheer greatness. Oh, George is pretty good too.... ( yes I was a Dokken follower...)

Touring is a totally different monster than being in the studio and finishing an album!But if someone can’t book some dates to go out and play these songs live on stage to people,It’s not the same, not necessarily to propel album sales,but to let the fans SEE what they HEAR!!!

One night back in the mid eigthies I ended up standing on top of a dog house well after midnight air guitaring Just Got Lucky as I listened to my Walkman because it was too late to actually be playing. Even then I remember that night thanking George and Dokken for providing me with some of the music that helped me get through where I was then let alone now. George is top shelf and still proving who the top dog was and is from the Left Coast.

I stumbled across this by accident. What on earth have I been missing!!! These guys are awesome.....I've been a life long admirer of Kings X...so was searching for their stuff.....but this is something else....I'm amazed......
I've been a huge KoRn fan for most of my life so I've probably knew about this band before they even released music to the public, it's also how I heard of the band King's-X as well I believe.
Maybe my fave song from them yet. That middle/bridge section is pure King's X grandeur. Part of me really wants the song (and video) to end on the last note of Lynch's solo - both sonically and visually, it's kind of a perfect apex.
doug and george? Have always loved Dougs wonderful voice... this is awesome! KXM is wonderful! HOW did i JUST hear about this? SIGH!

I saw the bass player Doug Pinnick live in the late 1980's in Dallas Texas when he played with King's X, they were the opening act for another band, they were awesome, every song they played was good!!!!

I was just now reading an Interview with Dug about the new Kings X Album and he mentioned this project.
I just paused, went back and re-read, just to make sure my eyes weren't playing tricks on me.
How in the world did I MISS THIS PROJECT?
It just hits me, with George's Guitar style of playing coming into PERFECT HARMONY with Dugs phenomenally PERFECT VOICE AND PLAYING, #1: Why am I NOT surprised?
#2: This should have happened DECADES AGO!!
Talk about a "SUPER GROUP."
Radio sucks for NOT PLAYING them.
THANK GOD for Labels like Rat Pack, Frontiers, Roadrunner and others that recognize REAL MUSIC and MUSICIANS and keeps them SOOOO RELEVANT.
