Great song! George Lynch always surprising and playing something you don't expect. He is the Jeff Beck of his generation.

Great analogy. Very few guitarists in my opinion, take you on a journey, and Jeff Beck was certainly one of the best at that. George has evolved and always pushed his boundaries. So grateful to have witnessed his evolution and glad he inspired me many moons ago.
This is a song that would only be possible after two albums jamming together. Everything is so on point and comes together so well. You guys are truly magnificent together!
Love that solo and the tone he gets in it. George has really progressed with his tone in the last 5-8 years.
Hahahaha! George has always been a tone monster! Who else but George could go backwards yet advance his tone from the amazing Back For the Attack?
@@mwbrada I really prefer the tones he's getting now off the tele's over what he used to get in the mid/late 80s (and liked those, too).
@@wereleeroads9311 I cannot disagree, I just think it speaks volumes as to how much a tone master he's always been. And it's getting better.
I only meant 'backward' in the sense of using older vintage guitars and less gain et cetera.

Same. When I first found out that Dug and George were forming a band, I almost died. And it's just as good as I hoped it would be (and Ray is a friggin' BEAST).

Love the change of pace! Love the subtle things with all 3 instruments and I LOVE Dug's chorus harmonies. Crushing in a slightly quieter way and extending their scope as a group. Yes and Thank You!

The kids with dreams to become great musicians need to be watching this SUPER GROUP with these incredibly talented musicians. These guys need to play at the NAMM show and every aspiring musician should have their eyes glued to them! It would be a MASTER CLASS for sure.

Much different vibe but very technical. May be slower but there is a lot going on. With that said, that is probably one of the most chill tones for a solo yet it has a serious impact.
Amazing! this is a lil different for KXM , at the same time this is just doug just doing what he does, i've been listening to his music and singing for over 25 years ,you either feel him or you don't and completely miss his expressions. this song is smoothly artistic!... just the fact that the song isn't put together the way most people would've done it is genius! , tones, structure, harmonies, pace and honesty. stop being so busy that you cant close your eyes for 4:43 and listen . there is a difference between Listening and Hearing

WOW. The vocals, the melodies, the musicianship ... and that chorus draws you in. Outstanding.
And how about those harmonies? Dug is amazing, and his voice sounds as good as ever. Killer song.
Key words describing this song: Quality. Maturity.Talent. Professionalism. Excellence. George loves trying out new things, progress, and not get stuck in the past. He is unique in that sense where not many musicians these days from the 80s & 90s possess such appetite.

Wow! Just a fantastic tune! Is there anything "guitar" that Mr. George Lynch cannot do, and do so well that you'd swear that's been his 'style' & technique since he picked up his first 6 string so long ago?I love Dug, & he does an admirable job here, but George steals the show with all the little things and overall mastery of an instrument that is not so easy to master. He however has done it!
Love Dug in Kings X. Can't say enough about George Lynch. Ray Luzier, phenomenal drummer! One more super group to add to my list!

Funny I was just thinking how bummed I was that such tasty playing was once again dynamically neutered by either full drum replacement or at least mixed in samples. Does anyone just make the effort to have the kit well tuned and record the damn thing anymore.
