    thanks for all the reviews/updates. Just bought the KQi2 pro. Have a question though, how do you lock it?

      @Lantea13  Год назад

      You could buy some sort of bicycle lock, a heavy duty U-lock as long as it fits around the neck section of the scooter; but personally I never lock my scooter anywhere and always take it inside with me, be it at work, shops, etc. Just not worth the risk of someone stealing it, so unfortunately there is not a specific lock I could recommend.
      There are a few posts over at r/ElectricScooters such as www.reddit.com/r/ElectricScooters/comments/14vre6o/scooter_lock_recommendations/ that might have some extra advice.

      You can order it as a spare part from Besender (NIU's service partner). You can order spare parts from shop.besender.com/store/ if the part you need is not listed fill out this form niu.besender.com/form and they will reply to you with the cost of the parts you need.

    Water,APC Cleaner and a Brush is maybe the better Option.

      You are probably correct, you just need to be careful about water not damaging the scooter if you take it too far :D

      Spray bottle to rinse it might work without a hose

    That would never work. You need to apply a liquid cleaner allow it to soak for a minute. Use a little water in a scrub brush and then hose it off and it’s real clean afterwards. And I know what you’re gonna say the water is gonna mess it up but it doesn’t I’ve done it it works. Trust me.

      The 'brick' was not the best cleaner, but honestly I expected it to work a bit better considering the many good reviews I read about it and photos I saw of it working. Your method is probably the easier solution I might try next time, but I would be careful about the "hose it off" part, as most scooters would likely not survive that if they are not very well waterproofed. The NIU KQi2 should be fine as it looks to be well sealed, but taking a hose to it is still not something I would recommend :)

      @@Lantea13 Yeah it is kind of disappointing when things don’t live up to your expectations. But you do have to be careful with water not to let it soak too long. Have a great day man. Keep scooting

      @richk562 I usually clean the grip tape with a hard plastic brush and regular cleaning product. I brush it very well and absorb the moist with a clean microfiber cloth. After a few repetitions is dry and clean as it can be.
