I used the glaco soft 99 and the compound on my explorer. It’s been 7 months. I am just like die already I have a different glass coating to put on haha. But in all seriousness the compound is awesome
Why does it freak you out to do that? Because it's low? Yeah, do it on a truck. I have used Bilt Hambers Dynax UC. Great Undercoating and it goes on and dries clear. Of.course you can use whatever you think works best but yes would be a great video to make. Thank you Eddie!
@@Ecdetails Thanks for replying Eddie! You have often referred to Bead maker as Dust Maker. Which is fair. I have been using it and my cars attract so much dust 24 hours after a maintenance wash. Is there a topper that you would recommend other than a ceramic sealant that would be good for maintenance washes but not as stout as a ceramic sealant. My car is uncoated because I'm just starting out doing rinseless washes. Hopefully I'll be able to ceramic coat it after the winter once I have saved up for a DA, Pads, and the ceramic coating. Best to use high pH foam first to break down the overylying organics and oils; followed by low pH foam to break down embeded salts and minerals. And as a bonus, Iron removing shampoo's (eg. Gyeon Restart, Carpro Iron X Snow, Gyeon PPF wash, etc) can be added before or after the low pH shampoo. That's my 3-foam method. Can do a contact wash on the 2nd foam and clay towel on the 3rd foam.
As for using an LSP over your existing coating. Well it makes sense, dust and dirt is in the air that the car passes through, when travelling down the motorway at 70 to 80mph that dirty air wears away the coating so it's best to preserve that hard work with an easier product to apply to protect that layer. Even if its less glossy, less hydrophobic it'll still add something temporarily until the coating rejects it- in most cases it takes a while to reject it.
Ed I'm dying here waiting for THOR to launch in Australia! I have so many rinseless product i want to try out for myself! I know you guys are doing as quick as possible but please hurry before you kill me 😂
Great video Eddie! I can't wait to try out ADS glass coating!! The Glaco compound and Stoner glass stripper both work super well! Will THOR carry the new ADS glass coating and the Stoner glass stripper?

I have a question about the glass coating. I’m in a state where the winters can be rough. What level of protection will the glass coating provide in regards to frost/ice buildup for a car that isn’t garage kept? Will it prevent the ice buildup or simply make it easier to remove?
hey Eddie, what's that foam cannon thing you screw on? and how do you know it won't use the full bottle? is it diluted with the water that goes thru it?

WD40 may be a good alternative. That’s what I’ve used on my Tacoma. They do make products for that specific purpose that gives the chassis hydrophobics. A good rinse to get salt off would probably suffice.
