i don't rely on stock presets ! it sounds great when you tweak and create your own presets and the tone capture is fantastic its 100% accurate when capturing the tone from an amp and by doing it the right way
A great demo, KS guitar. :) I digress. These comparison conversations will go on forever. Having owned a Kemper, an Axe FX2, and now a GE300, I can honestly say that live, or in a mix, you would not tell the difference. Each to their own, but the GE300 suits me best, regardless of it actually costing less than the others I have owned. Not having a harmoniser built in, is a negative, but being able to capture an amp's sound, is a great feature. I still use an Engl Thunder, or a JCM 2000 DSL, for recording, but that's just a 'me ' thing :)
Definitely needs some tweaking of stock presets, like many other modelers. I've heard some great demos of the GE300 where tones were built from scratch. This unit definitely has some serious capability. Some of the stock presets here do not sound much different than my old Digitech GSP 1101. Some sound great. Good demo!
I think that all modelers are pretty much the same but everyone has its own thing that shines little more than other we all hear different we have to remember that the people that make these are just human I have a boss gt-1000 I like it but is it the perfect modeler not even close this is just like fishing
Come on, man... you're asking if a $700 device from a fairly new company stacks up against what is likely the absolute best in digital amp and effect modeling from a company that has been at the top of the game for many years. That's like asking if the plywood birdhouse your 12 year old son builds at summer camp will be as good as the one a master cabinetmaker made for your neighbour.
ge200 sounds like shit r u fuken serious dimwit. i compared it against a line 6 hx stomp and it sounds just as good if not better. definitely the ge200 would sound better in a band mix line 6 more compressed and wouldn't cut through as well dimwit
@@jesus4pincho Yeah, if you want your guitar to sound like a f*ckin artificial organ with violin effect and three octaves up then of course. If you want to rock the f*ck out loud, then no, they are equal.
Better than the helix or headrush but nothing beats a real tube amp IMO. Got to remember that these are the built in presets. They always sound like crap. To see what it can really do you have to program them yourself to your specifications.
@@christophermcdonald6471 people can be such snobs saying it sounds like shit without even knowing they should re-program them to taste.. ofc most of the presets always sound shitty

It's really the best multi effects synth I've ever heard, but is it accurate in pitch?
I don't know if it's the best for you, but I think the GE300's synth section is great. The response of the sound is also fast. The pitch is also good.
Good video thanks.
Is it good quality for price?
I think that it is excellent in cost performance.

What is the best patch for an eric johnson sound?
I couldn't introduce the video, but there is a patch called "Cliff EJ Live"!
Does it have better synth and effects than pod hd500x?
I can't compare because I don't have Pod HD, but I like the GE300 synth! The response of the synth is fast
@@kenjisuzuki thanks
Hey dude! Yes, it is better than the hd 500 x
Magnificent pedalboard!
PrototypeD Yes!!
@@kenjisuzuki Magnificent guitar, too. What type of Pacifica is this?
@@PrototypeDriverCrash I replaced the neck pickup of the PACIFICA 611 VFM.

Sorry, I don't have AXE FX.
