I love when you articulate your thought processes. It helps so much when putting my own pages together. Thanks for sharing your immeasurable knowledge. 🤗
Love the mushrooms and Murphy with his firewood, so cute. Thanks for explaining how to select the papers from other kits. Always enjoy when you use your stamps, it has helped me go through mine and use them on my layouts. Wonderful❤❤❤
Beautiful Erin. I love hearing all your tips and your thought process . It has really helped me when trying to put layouts together with different paper packs.
I love watching your process and hearing how you make your design decisions. The way you use stamping in your scrapbooking is amazing. I know tons of people that struggle with this. I will share your channel info with them. This is a beautiful layout.
Fabulous! I love your videos and this one was so good, so informative. You tell use why you made your choice and are so encouraging to the viewer to give it a try. You’re such a good teacher. Thanks for doing what you do!
Wow great use of colors I have to say I really like the use of the fern and mushroom stamps. I may have to make a purchase now. Lovely page as always. ❤
You are the best at embellishment clusters. I really like how you always give them something to sit on rather than having them floating. I see so many layouts on FB where the embellishments are just mid air.
I also love hearing your thought process. Not having scrapbooked in years, I am very excited to be able to get back into doing so, but I am SOOOO rusty! Beautiful layout, and subscribed for more inspiration...Thanks!!!
Another beautiful layout. Thanks so much for explaining your thought process behind choosing papers. I don’t have many “collections” (yet 😉) and struggle putting coordinating cardstock together. This was very helpful.
I love the ideas you introduced today. Having dabbled in junk journals for a few years, I have a lot of bits and bobs left over and I love the look. The idea of using field journal motifs really resonates with me. How exciting! You may have opened a new door of creative possibilities!
You never cease to amaze me. I didn't know where you were going with the papers you showed in the beginning...how those elegant papers would fit with your photos. You certainly brought it all together in a beautiful way to tell your story! Love the story about Murphy! Question: what do you do with your leftover papers when you've basically finished with a collection?
Love the layout Erin! You gave it a 49 & Market feel. Beautiful! The die cuts you created just give the layouts a good nature feel. Your firewood bandit is precious. 🤣 I have two schnauzers….brother and sister. Diego is slowly waning……with the likelihood of lymphoma. I’m trying to put weight back on him, but he has become a skeleton….no muscle mass left although he still seems pretty bright. It’s so hard to see. I just keep waiting for the moment I have to put him down. 😢😢😢. He has been my brave “critter catcher” and my “tigger the bouncey boy”. Just heart breaking to see him lose weight since the beginning of summer.
Great tips on combining papers. It’s a challenge, but your principles are right on, in my experience. Even though I haven’t put it into words, I have thought “nah” when styles clash, but not really known why. Also, “doodlely” will now forever be in my vocabulary! 😂
Beautiful layout as always and definitely captured the field journal vibe. I'd have never thought to use elegant papers for those photos but they worked perfectly! Thanks for explaining all your choices; you're a very good teacher. Changed your mind about the title?
Thank you! It is so funny you mentioned the title, I didn't change my mind, I got sidetracked and forgot what I wanted to do. I am currently looking for a stamp in my stash that says everyday so I can add it.
Very, very lovely layout…it really does hav the feel of a field journal. Gotta love Murphy and him carrying the firewood! That is hysterical! I remember the other layout he was in regarding the firewood! TFS ❤
Thanks so much Diane, I have long been drawn to the field journal look and this was a fun one to put together. Murphy is so funny, that firewood has got to be heavy to carry that far.
Great layout. I love mushrooms too. I have SO many mushroom photos. Thank you for sharing and for always walking through the details. It's very helpful hearing about the choices and how you pick through what you use.
thanks for this! Sometimes I get in my head because I purchase so many collections and then I'm stumped with mixing them when I only have pieces left. Can you share more about your notebook that you referenced.
Ironically, upon prompting, my student drew a beautiful page of mushroom art on her break. We looked into videos about luminescent 🍄 🍄 🍄 actually- COOL!
Love your layouts and how you cluster items together. Great choice of using different groups of paper. I am wondering what do you store your SU embellishments in? I saw a clear pocket.
Thank you so much, I am glad you enjoy the layouts. The clear embellishment pockets are actually passport holders. They work so well! I purchased the 50 count option but Avery makes a 10 pack. Avery Passport Pockets: amzn.to/3Z61gHd Passport 50 count option: amzn.to/3X1GZzM
What stamp did you use over the butterfly to add so color ?. I just love this layout !,,, love and watch everyone of yours ! Thanks for great artwork ❤
Thank you, I am so glad you enjoy the layout ideas. I stamped over the butterfly with an image from the Wild Ferns stamp set www.stampinup.com/products/wild-ferns-cling-stamp-set-english?demoid=2297233
Love your black pads that you are working on, but I don’t see them linked on your supply list. Where would I find these pads if I am looking to get into 12x12 scrapbooking
Hi Cindy, the black mats are called Versamats. Unfortunately, they were sold from close to my heart who is no longer in business. I have been told by friends in the crafting community Creative Memories offers a similar product. It does not have the foam cushion on the back like the mats I use do which is good for stamping, but the front side with a grid is similar.
love this layout. really wish the paper packs didnt have so much gold foil. not my style and i am not sure i can justify the cost for just a few pieces of paper.
Thank you, I am glad you like how the layout turned out. Both of these collections do have a lot of gold foiling, but for the Nature’s Sweetness collection only one side has gold foil, the other side is gold foil free 😊

Hello, it is called a Versamat but is unfortunately no longer available. It was a product from CTMH who has since closed up shop. I have heard Creative memories carries something similar. SU offers a glass mat with a grid and the measurement marks so you might take a look at that option too.
I love how you always know exactly how to layer your papers and what pp match and how you explain your thought process. That ledger paper tho I JUST did a mushroom layout, I am fascinated with them! FABULOUS layout!
Thanks for sharing your thought process and how you make decisions.

Wowsers what an amazing layout 😍
Thank you, I appreciate you watching my video!
Beautiful pages
If you were on this adventure with young children the cute prints might be more appropriate. I love the sophisticated, elegant look you chose.
That is an excellent point, it is helpful for the paper to reflect the subject also 😊
Especially when you used the camera on the other page as it tied in the two sides as in taking photos of the mushrooms!
