It’s not about politics or politicians, but how lucky we are to live and love Nova Scotia! I am thankful for being here an feeling belonged, and yes, there are problems, but they are not hidden and people are free to talk about… and another yes, I am sure we have a super “power” future in the energy sector! My humble opinion.
And you can not buy a home here unless you’re rich … I’ve lived here my whole life and I’ve never seen it this bad… There’s no way these ppl are telling the full truth
It is all depend of people's priorities but factors such as labor market, house cost , taxes, medical care are things to be taken into account. For someone who loves nature, can work from home and is looking for an affordable house Nova Scotia could be a good choice. By the way aside from Cape Breton winter is not as bad as in Quebec or Ontario. No comments for Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Alberta winters.
Please can you tell him that a lot of nurses have a temporary nursing licence. But they are not employing foreign nurses what is his plan of supporting the nurses to come to Nova Scotia

I wish the best for all immigrants. But as a Canadian I want to lowers the immigration as it’s impacting healthcare, housing and job market. We need the right kind of people. Not just people .We need more manufacturing jobs because we don’t build anything here
@@ImCanada not fast food workers. When I was a teenager in the 90’s there were many teenagers who worked them. Now we import Indians. We don’t need low skilled workers. Skilled trades yes.
Also, lower the Provincial Income tax rate. Nova Scotia has one of the highest income tax rates in Canada, significantly higher than many provinces and territories. We are not getting better services for these higher taxes.
