this is why I love M Night movies and movies like this in general because it allows the viewer a chance to theorize and imagine what the movies is about or the outcome and that's why I love M Night movies
My personal theory is he is that he's not the "Butcher" but rather a butcher, a Serial Liller that enjoys killing Serial Killers and that the actual twist of the movie will be that he's not the only killer trapped in this Stadium- In actuality the trap was waaaaaay more effectively then initially realized and the film will actually be about Josh Hartnett's character being trapped in this very Stadium with several other Serial Killers that will all want to make a move on one another out of collectively paranoia, and who knows their conflict could start or even escalate because they eventually found out he's a Dexter-like killer of killers.
Honestly not getting the people saying it’s a spoiler to reveal him as the killer? Thats like saying the two killers in Rope is a spoiler. Thats just the premise baybee!!

Why did he even tell him anything? 3) Do the police not know what the killer actually looks like? They grabbed another dude at 3:32. Who was _that_ guy? 4) Does main character dude have split personalities? Maybe the title *Trap* refers to the personalities trapped in his mind 🤷🏼♂️😅 5) If the feds do know who this guy is, wouldn’t they know the car he drives/license plate number as well? Wouldn’t they be checking cars as they approached?
