I have made a few similar to these. Need to get busy for the holidays. I have thought about putting Christmas decor in the base and leave the front bottom open, kind of like a circle to be able to view the scene.
How would it look to put the decals on the inside of the bowl before using the decopage and glitter? That way there's no accidental scraping off an eye or button during storage.
My wife played with them in Silhouette Studio and combined the elements she liked best. If you send me an email I can send you the file. The globes are the same size. Thanks for watching!
Thanks for watching! Yes they are. At the dollar stores around us there are two commons sizes, but they are much easier to work with if you use the same size globes because the edges match and you don’t have to drill the globes to fish the lights through.
The cord does come out between the globes. The wires are small so the globes still fit pretty closely together, and if you use a thick bead of hot glue afterwards to fill in the gap it won’t be noticeable.
Sorry, we have misplaced the pattern. It’s a little finicky to get right, but a little trial and error and I’m sure you can get it. Good luck and thanks for watching!
Vinyl cutters do make things a lot easier. Though I’m a Silhouette Cameo guy, not Cricut. You can do these without a vinyl cutter, just need to use stencils. Thanks for watching!
Awesome 👍😁
Thank you Love snowman ❤
Very cute ❤
Love it⛄️
Do you have the measurements of the top hat 🎩
Thank you !

I was wondering what size is the hat. Just love the snowman
Hi Brandon, I am trying to find that file and I can’t find it anywhere. I love the face that you used.
Love the snowmen
That's so cute 😍

I don’t think it would look as nice. The vinyl is very durable and quite easy to replace if it were to get damaged.
Awesome thanks
Thanks for watching!
Need the pattern for the hat please
Very cute, but I don’t have a sewing machine either☹️
Love the tutorial! Where did you get the snow face svgs and are the globes the same size?

These are soo cute! Are both fish bowls the same size?

Thank you !😊
Can I ask about the lights? Does the cord come out between the two glued bowls? Do the bowls sit tight then?
The cord does come out between the globes. The wires are small so the globes still fit pretty closely together, and if you use a thick bead of hot glue afterwards to fill in the gap it won’t be noticeable.
Can I find the bigger bowl at Dollar Tree too?
I’m not sure what Dollar Tree carries. In Canada where I live, they are available only at Dollarama.
The snowman’s face looks a lot like frosty
Use E6000 glue it holds much longer on glass buddy!!!!
Do you have a pattern to make the hat? I’d love to make one like yours :)
Sorry, we have misplaced the pattern. It’s a little finicky to get right, but a little trial and error and I’m sure you can get it. Good luck and thanks for watching!
Thank you for this video, it’s great 👍
Do you have a pattern for the hat
Sorry, I don’t have the pattern we made any longer. Thanks for watching.
Do you have the template for the face? :)
If you send me an email I could send you a copy of the svg file.
I don’t have a Cricket
🫸🫷❤
All the dollar tree videos are not the same this year. Everyone has a cricit. Not everyone has one.
