Correction to video at 0:14: The ALRC's proposed changes would remove the provisions in the Sex Discrimination Act that allow schools to _preference_ the employment of staff who share the faith and model it through how they live their lives.
Senator Fawcett you have given some good info here. Thank you
I read your article. Well said. Yet another attempt to quietly remove a stone from the foundation. Thank you for bringing this to the public's attention.
Well said
This would be one way of alienating twenty to thirty percent of parents who have chosen faith schools and independent schools for their children.
Who saw this coming?
Discrimination never sounded so reasonable🙄
Excellent speech calling out a sneaky, nasty government. Once again attempting to meddle in our lives without being asked.
Leave the faith based schools alone. For goodness sake😊
So far it has b33n going really well..what is the issue now?
25km? I cycled 4km every day, and that seemed kind of far. How long does it take your average teenager to walk 25km? Schools are publicly funded and shouldn't be allowed to discriminate in employment
