Looks great! It was actually very relaxing to watch. I like your plastic wrap idea. I have only used black but in the past month I bought more colours to try. This video was perfect for me and I am going to try some out soon when my vacation starts. Thanks!

I tried acrylic paints last night for the first time ever. I ended up getting fast drying acrylics because I didn't know the difference, but for backgrounds it made it difficult to blend on the paper while painting. I am going to try the Daler Roney next. I love this video, thanks. (I also used "Ivy and the Inky Butterfly")

Yeah I suposse each acrylics will act a bit different and how much water u use plays a role too.. i would say it is really about testing it out and find the best way.. good luck next time! And thank u for watching😘

That looks beautiful. Question- Do you just keep your brush wet with water when applying the paint? I’ve seen some people thin the acrylic with water before applying but I love the bold look of yours. I’ve never tried this yet.

i wet the brush a bit..especially for places when i wanted make the transition between colors, but yeah i dont make it too watery..i like the solid look of acrylic paint..whne i used acrylis paint as base under coloring, in that case i did use more water..I hope you will enjoy to use acrylic paints for background :)

I've never done this before but enjoyed your video. Personally I would be worried to do this before coloring the page. Does the paint chip or smear while coloring? Thanks for sharing your talent.

Have Never tried acrylic paints in colouring books.. Does it soak through to back page. Looks lovely on your piece.

hi Maggie, no the back page is perfect, no bleeding or anything, u don't have to use much water for acrylic paint, so it really doesn't destroy the page👍 thank you very much for compliment😘

I've tried using acrylic paint in my books, but I'm never able to achieve a smooth solid look like you have done here. What type of brush are you using? Maybe that will help me....

Hey there🙂 I used pretty average synthetic flat brush. I think there r more factors that can affect the result, i think the consistency of your acrylic paint, u have the find the right balance between too much water or not enough water, u could see in the video, that i had some troubles too. At some parts i used too much water.. and i think be quick with strokes can help too, cause acrylis dry quickly.. I hope it helped a bit.. 😘

Hi . I just found your video. I tried using acrylic paint, but I can't keep from getting it on the picture and not just the back ground. Thank you

hi Judy, I'm glad if u enjoyed my video..if u have troubles to keep it just on background, u can always try to use masking fluid, at those parts where it is needed..u have to work really carefully, not to goes over lines..suppose it is easier to choose pic where is more room for background..
