Awesome tips! I've also had some luck using a black Prismacolor colored pencil on the edges of what I'm painting around similar to what you did with the posca pen, but a little thicker line. Again you don't want to use too much if the finish differs a lot from what kind of paint you are using.
Thanks for the tip on doing the black background with the Posca first. Your crab looks great! I enjoy your videos very much and I come away with something learned every time.
This was awesome. I just used acrylic paint last night and getting close to the edges with a brush was no Bueno. And I didn’t know to wet the brush. Tysm for this🌺
Hi, I'm a Cancer too so I can totally appreciate your wonderful Crab! Thank you for the painting tips, I agree that Posca acrylic pens cost dearly so I'm going to pick up a bottle of acrylic paint and try using that. I haven't done it yet so your instructions will come in very handy!! tyfs :)
Great video! I need to use black acrylic in my books more. Sometimes it's an easy background for me or other times I just want to cover something up lol. So this was a great reminder. 💜
You can use an old dinner plate for a palette for acrylic paints as well. You can either run it under hot water to soften the leftover paint blobs so they soften up and lift off, or you can just peel the paint blobs right off the plate and start all over.
Great tips! think Poscas are so overrated, I have Liquitex markers, very opaque and with a chisel nib, I wish they had a smaller nib. I’m loving a Pebeo white marker, it takes some time to activate it, but once it gets going is really effective. For streaky paint I use flow aid, it helps a lot

Yes. I find it particularly statisfing to peel them off myself. Lol. 🤣👽🖖
