The original Conquest soundtrack was impressive in its own right, but this music is absolutely phenomenal! It perfectly captures the cultural pride, and determination of Nohr's people. All while still reflecting the ever present feeling of despair created by the harsh landscape, brutal leadership, and relentless conflict.
This really gives off the vibes I always felt when playing conquest...I'm crying every single time...Conquest will always be my true choice...I couldn't leave them alone...Never
The saddest thing for me was... I played Birthright first. Still my prefered choice. But at that time, I always thought the Nohrians were just evil for the sake of being evil. Then I played Conquest. I literally cried. The Nohrian's were defending their home country which was already in shambles. Corrin was forced to kill his siblings. The Nohrian royals regret their choice to demolish Hoshido, but it was either them or Hoshido. One had to live, the other had to die.
The worst part is when in Birthrigth Ryoma realizes that Nohr is actually a barren land filled with starving people and thinks inmediatly of sharing food and resources from Hoshido. Both kingdoms could have been prosperous if Garon wasn´t a monster filled with lust of power. The hoshidian siblings were defending their happy kingdom, the nohrian ones never had one to begin with...
This is how Warriors should have done it! As I close my eyes while listening to this I can almost feel as if I’m wandering through the castle walls or taking a stroll through the capital in the dead of night...

I just finished playing Fates for the first time and reviewing the tracks to make myself a custom 'best-of' CD album and also searching for covers to replace the originals if they're better. A Dark Fall was already great but your cover absolutely crushes it - if there was a Fates movie this is what the soundtrack would/should sound like. 10/10! And I'm definitely not one to hand out compliments like candy. So not only will your version go on that CD it will also for sure make it on my annual "best of newly discovered music" CD which I'll do in December. I've already found a some doosies for that (like "Don't Speak Her Name" from Awakening and also a couple tracks from The Greatest Showman movie) but still your cover of Dark Fall is my most listened to track of 2022 so far. Keep up the great work. My only complaint is that that quiet parts (like 0:00 to 0:37) are too quiet (especially if you're driving). I'll use Audacity to edit it for my own use so no big deal but just thought I'd make the suggestion for next time
