I went camping one weekend with my 2 brothers and a close childhood friend of ours. We went camping in the Mt.Hood National Forest south of Ripplebrook Ranger Station off hwy 224. Which is located maybe 45-55 minutes away from Estacada. The first morning, which was Saturday, we were all awoken around 7:30 from what sounded like 50+ crows squawking right about our tents in the tree line. This lasted for almost an hour until we all just finally got up. We drink the night before which was the reason non of us wanted to get up. Enough time went by for us to make a fire and coffee. While we were drinking coffee and smoking cigarettes, we all started hearing a noise above our heads in the tree line. This time it was this weird beeping noise that had a consistent rhythm to it. This noise went on for over an hour while we sat around the fire. By this time it’s early afternoon and one of my brothers and close friend grew curious of the noise and decided to go pursue it. I wanted to join them but my other brother said fuck that so I decided to stay back with him. Lol I was feeling a little freaked out too. The two ventured off to go look for the source of this noise. What felt like a few hours went by and they were still gone. At this point the noise just stopped. Finally they showed back up to our camp. My brother said it sound like they were with 50 feet of the noise. He said they low crawled up this slight hill to the ridge line. They said it sounded like it was just on the other side of the ridge. When they go up to the ridge the noise stopped right then and there. The noise didn’t come back the rest of the day. Sunday morning comes and those fucking crows are back and it’s 7:30AM again lol. No bs! This time I just got out my tent and start d shooting my pistol at a tree 10 feet from my tent lol idk I did this. We did the same thing, made a fire and then some coffee. The fucking noise came back almost the same time as the previous morning. This time the rhythm or sequence of the beeps was different. We packed up and left 😂 I’ve spent the majority of my life camping/going to the woods. Not just the Mt Hood forest but the Wallowas mountains too. Spent 3 years in the Infantry and all the time out in the field. I’ve never heard anything like that before or after.
the PNW is notorious for ufo activity. im sure it was that or govmnt craft. ive been up on mt st helens, gifford pinchot national park area and mt adams. both are freaky, and i def felt true evil and terror up in mt adams. bigfoot up there and im serious.

So this is what really happened: the guy that owns the house came home to see a man dressed in all black and looking high af sleeping in his bed. So the next day he comes back to see the strange man now with a dog holding a flashlight and screaming at the owner that just wanted to take back his house.
The full story to this has to be my number one favorite of stories told by Mr.Ballen, I haven't listened to it in a while but I can still remember the entire thing, creepy as hell and is definitely a good example of the stories I watch daily even though I know they'll give me nightmares
Alternative ending: he backs into his house, grabs his lever action .22 rifle, aims down the sights and pulls the trigger before going back into his house and laying back, grinning in gigachad.

I got a migraine, so I went to sleep to try to get rid of it. My friends decided it would be funny to collapse the tent on top of my while I was sleeping. I heard them running off laughing as I came out. I spent the next 20 minutes terrifying them. They would see me in the woods and freak out. When they turned to each other I would run off, so I would appear to have disappeared. They told me it was something out of a horror movie. At one point, I climbed onto the roof of the trailer and began knocking on the back door. They were truly freaked out at this point. After a couple of times, my best friend came out looking around, visibly scared. He was a bigger guy, so it was pretty funny watching him crawl under the trailer. When I knocked again, I could hear him saying, "what the fuck, what the fuck" over and over again. So yeah. They collapsed a tent on me, but my prank was better.

I wanna know more about the rakes that stalk our forests. One theory I have is, what if rakes are albino or hairless Bigfoot. They are tall with long arms and have human like foot prints, just like Bigfoot. Rakes could have a disease which makes them rabid, or contagious and thus usually always be alone, but idk. Makes sense to me...
