How do you like it 2 months in? I started playing infinite Lagrange on mobile the other week and figure a game like Eve might be for me. How you doing two months in? Any tips for a player who just downloaded
Pro-tip: Play EvE but manage your expectations this game is designed to be played for years. I will give you a tip from someone that has been playing for thirteen years Eve is about the people you play with; in the end, you can have all the ISK, all the shiny ships, and all the skills. If you do not have the bios and grills to share the experience, it is worthless.
Going to the walkthrough for the tutorial tonight ! First time player and I just love it already . Not sure how to redeem skill points though ! I subscribed my guy
when you are in the game, bottom left corner of your screen on the neocom should be a button to see your redeemables , you should have 1M Skill points from whom ever's link you used, if you did not use a link you can still retroactively use one to get the benefits
It's interesting how none of these "Intro to Eve" videos are an intro. They all refer to my wants or desires within the game but a newbie can't have wants or desire relative to the game without knowing why people play it. lol. There's something about Eve that makes it inherently a closed system.
Magic 14 is a good set of skills that generally everyone should have as they benefit so many things you do in game, that said I've not found anyone that can explain why Warp Drive Operation needs to be in this group. It really doesn't seem that crucial, honestly you can be deep into the game without even noticing this is missing if you leave it out.
So First - Play the "Beginner" Level Starter Missions give too much stuff to say No. Second - Get all The "Beginner" Ships (Tier 1) as that lets you Experience Ships that Might Fit your Desire Playstyle. Third - Don't Commit Unless you have to Roger!.
I got more ships .. 8 in all, I think .. including 2 industrials, 2 Ventures .. and you have to have a paid subscription to fly any Tech 2 ship. .. Alpha players - unpaid - can only fly Tech 1 ships up to Battleships
I'm coming back to eve after a 6 year break. Most of my stuff is probably stuck in nullsec somewhere, but I'm excited to hop back in. Should I just put all my null ships on contract and sell em? Also, is the astero still a solid explo ship? i kind of want to just do relic sites and explore around again :D
got my first explorer ship from the agency quests, flew through a wormhole got destroyed . it was equip with every modules/weapons I had. lost basically everything with it. what am I gonna do now? weapons and all additions are so frickin expensive on the market.
You should have around 14 million isk after doing the career agent missions, fitting a t1 scanner should be around 7m . Grinding T2 Missions for some liquid isk is an option, ultimately you should find a newbro friendly group, you will find they hand out ships like that for free
I pretended to be cryo frozen for 3 years 9 months. Installed & logged in tonight first time since then. Boy was I lost lol. & forgot just how much I gave away lol. Gonma see if I can still donthe tutorial again, or maybe start a new toon.
Lvl 4 mission running can get ~100 million isk an hour I believe. if not more. a slightly worthless grind going through the lvl 1 and 2 then 3 mission agents to get a lvl 4 agent with a corporation. but once you have lvl 4 agents they are a dependable way to rat and HS is safe so-long you cross your t\s and dot your i\s with things like not ratting with active kill rights against you. You can graduate your time spent learning to rat with hopefully some game knowledge and some isk to get into something like incursions, more efficient lvl 4 missing running and getting into wormholes.
@@GKhagah just learned how to run tranquil firestorm on my rifter.. two armor reps making 2-3m per run now. So much better than doing level 1, 2 missions lol
you need to redeem the 1M SP injector from your in game redeem section, if its not there maybe you didn't use the link properly or something happened, if so you can retro-actively use links to get the bonus. If not then, maybe you already used some other link in the past?
I just started today and got stuck on this part where I was supposed to sell something but every time I clicked it and press market details, it said something like I can't access it. I don't know what to do. I looked everywhere..
You have to move the item from your ships hanger into the item hanger, just drag and drop it in. Then when you right click on the item you want to sell, it will give you the sell item option
I'm on day 7 of playing, and I'm really enjoying it. I wish I would've found this game earlier.

Up to you on how you handle your assets, maybe you rejoin a nullbock and you want 5 muninns. There astero is a great little ship for exploration

SP matters most so try and reclaim your account if you have a good amount of Skill Points; over starting a new toon

That's a bit vague buddy, have you tried the eve rookie chat channel, they got GMs in there that can help and hundreds of active vets
