I just love Carlos. One of the few people in this world I could listen to speak for hours. Not to mention his mad bass skills. Well rounded chap! Thanks for this! 👍🏼❤️

Carlos has not spoken if he will return to Interpol?
the bass beast is missed :´)

He did say he missed playing bass because of how he could express emotions with it. I dont think he talks to Paul or Daniel and I know for a fact not Sam, but if they ever did somehow meet up again I could see him playing with them again for old times sake. Would be so fucking amazing.

He left for a reason and it’s apparent none of the other three speak to him. Paul said around the Turn Off the Bright Lights anniversary tour a couple years ago that they (I’m paraphrasing) “kind of” spoke but nothing came of it.
So far their touring bassist does a good job and Paul isn’t bad as a bassist in studio.
Now if they can quit working with John Fridmann as a producer…

@@weasel4915 would be super fucking cool to see them get together for one more album but i think carlos would decline due to his ego and the other 3 would refuse

He’s not welcome because he’s a pos. He brought some serious dark energy into the band.

@@davypelletier but that’s what made Interpol the music it was dark and gritty it’s so different now

Interpol was awesome with Carlos D. Saw a show during the Antics tour and it was one of the best shows I’ve ever seen. Wish he would go back to Interpol. I also loved his work on their 4th album when he was halfway out the door.

Oh man, if at least he just recorded the bass lines again, Interpol has continue to be great. But would be greater if he just went to studio sessions and just that =D
