I think it's even more impressive that this performance came from a processor that is supposed to be a more lightweight and less powerful CPU. Aside from the CPU, the iGPU AMD provide has been having pretty good performance lately. While Intel CPU are still pretty good, their iGPU has always been pretty bad, even the Xe performance is still lacking.

This is an "upgraded" version of the Ryzen 5 5500u... you had to know its a 15-25w processor ok... but it "limits power" not on wattage but on TEMPERATURE, if your laptop stay UNDER 72ºC this APU will not lower CPU speed to 2ghz!!! it will stay at 4ghz! mine as go from 25watt to 45watt, same as the 5600"H" non low power processor. MODIFY THE LAPTOP TO RUN MORE COOLER... AND YOU WILL GET +50% PERFORMANCE, ITS REAL, you can see it with GPU-Z that tells you how much Watts the APU are using. So you need to install some program to keep fans at 100% runing and some cooling upgrade and IT WILL GET YOU MORE FPS

I like how the game that ran the best was Valorant, while the game that ran the worst was Cyberpunk of course 💀 It takes an RX6400 to run that damn game at low 1080p 25fps without FSR, but the game still does better at 900p with said card.

@@ewan6430 asus vivobook is seriously problematic when it comes to cooling. A friend's brand new laptop with rtx 3050 even had serious overheating issues. You can try replacing the thermal paste every year but I seriously believe there is something flawed in asus vivobook designs which quickly dries up thermal paste and overheats laptop.

It depents. Those two extra cores will fight for the same 15W and that is why 7730U has lower all core turbo. Anyway 7730U will be better for gaming because of Vega8. I don't get the question about RAM. It is always better to have more RAM, especially when they solder one module on motherboard and you can't upgrade RAM without sacrificing half of the iGPU performance(single channel).

It depents. Those two extra cores will fight for the same 15W and that is why 7730U has lower all core turbo. Anyway 7730U will be better for gaming because of Vega8. I don't get the question about RAM. It is always better to have more RAM, especially when they solder one module on motherboard and you can't upgrade RAM without sacrificing half of the iGPU performance(single channel).
R5 7530u and r7 7530 is almost the same, the advantage only on r7 is 2 more cores
