The issue to me with manual utm's is you have to be really militant about tracking your conventions in a spreadsheet or whatever. Lots of room for human error and messy data. Do you happen to know if convertkit has parameter variables that can be pulled in automatically, like bringing the name of the campaign into UTM campaign param the way you would on a Facebook ads campaign?
What if you have an email campaign and you want to include a RUclips video link for a video that you own. Is there a way to track those that clicked the YT url from the email?
I don’t think there is way you can track YT url but within the email marketing tool like mail chimp or Zoho campaigns you can track clicks for a specific link
