Congratulations to the whole Parts Plus team, well deserved. With both Clay and Krista Baldwin, you could not ask for better ambassadors to the sport. Nothing against Doug Stringer, I liked him. I just don't think he was securing enough funding to compete. Now that the team has everything they need, look at how great they are doing. Two wins and several other good showings, I expect a good placement in the countdown. And if they can keep this momentum going, I think that would make them part of the championship discussion. At the very least a top three finish for the season. I couldn't be more happy for a team. Keep it up guys!

Leigh, I know you and your sister are super proud of Clay and so am I and a lot of other fans. How much more awesome can it be to have family there to see their brother take the last Wally from Bandimere? That to me is legendary and will go down in NHRA history. I'm also glad to see him break a streak over Salinas who has been a thorn in his side for a while. I saw Clay go to the finals with him in Phoenix last year and gave him a good race but Salinas won. I'm glad you and your sister got watch their big brother make history. I know it made my eyes leak a little. I root for Clay and if he's out I really don't care to keep up with the live races. Never heard of Rick Ware before he acquired the team but the man gave them everything they needed to put some big boys on the trailer. I'd love to shake his hand someday and thank him for believing in Clay and the team. They were well worth the investment and the hardest working team out there.
I’m still in a shock that all went down the way it did.. Not that they won because we all know they are so capable of it any time just the story book ending.. it is a unbelievable feeling & a memory we will never forget

He doesnt have a clutch pedal stop so he puts the mirror up to make sure tires are not engaged.. make sure its in neutral basically
@leighmillicanhubbard Thank you. I had to pick up my daughter at ohare in Chicago when the rain delayed everything. But I stayed persistent he seen me and I got a fist bump and told where to buy my hat and shirt. Never got to see him run but just meeting him made my day.
