The NHRA could never produce of video of this caliber. No overused slo motion effects. No obnoxious music, just pure sights and sounds of what we all really see at the racetrack. Great video!
Excellent Job! I live in Columbus Ohio and the Spring Nationals was my favorite time of the year. Thanks for stoking some old memories. I was able to see some great drag racing history during the 70’s in Columbus. Don Prudhomme and Shirley Muldowney both made history in Columbus. I plan on making the trip to Indianapolis soon for the US Nationals. Thanks for producing this!
This was the BEST video I've ever seen of NHRA racing! By far the best. FOX sports can take some lessons from you on how to do it right. Instead of "muddling" the true sound of the cars, you did it right and present the viewer with the true sounds & sights of the track.....Just like being there in person. Thank you!

That was some of the best editing I have seen in a drag race video... It reminds me of why I am always expecting a bunch of noise after the national anthem.. It is the "ok boys wind them up" right as the last notes are played... Well done, well done...... I have been at this since before Allen... and he is getting older now.. :)
That was the finest film, documentary, on a sport I enjoy that I have ever seen. I have an old but fairly decent 2.1 sound system on the PC and with the sound up, it was utterly glorious - many thanks.

It hasn't been Lucas Oil Raceway. It has been Indianapolis Raceway Park for most of the last 60 years. It has several different racetracks. One is where the NASCAR junior level race league, whatever they are calling it these days and the trucks raced here.
It’s sad, one of the biggest races in drag racing and the right lane absolutely sucked. Track maintenance at Indy was awful and left a lot to be desired, not fair to the teams who spend thousands.
Think they knew the race was going to happen many months before they held the event. They could have made a lot better effort to make the track FAIR for everyone.

In pomona 2 weeks ago the stands were EMPTY...POMONA!! I miss Lions were you could hang over a chain link fence 15 feet away from starting line..THAT was drag racing.......

The (damn near) empty Grandstands could be a Mirage, of some sort and/or it was "Bleacher/Grandstand Camo" Day, at the Races. and/or it was "Immediate Family, only" Day, at the Races. If the Racers do not want Spectators, then, they suck and i hope they never Win. See, if i care.

Well multiple teams who spent thousands gave props to the NHRA for working nonstop to try and get that lane right. Wasn't nothing that they could do.
