You guys across the pond have so many cool parts available for the 690-701 platforms but I definitely don’t envy the huge license plates you have to run on your bikes.
Brilliant Video as always. Thanks. Think I’m going to try the DIY Tail Tidy using half the ‘mud guard’ plate holder. Will see what the law says but may end up getting one of these myself.
The only downside of using the half mudguard option from what I can see is you have no separate plate light, the angle of plate may not be compliant with various country's laws (Not sure?), and it's maybe not as strong. I'd put a blob of sealant in the hole in that grommet also to prevent water getting into the electrics. Other than that, give it a go and let me know how you get on with it. Thanks for watching 👍
@@POUSEouttatheHOUSE Yea you speak exactly of the small things I’ve considered, good pointed about the grommet / hole for the plate light cable.. In the UK as well, so hoping that it being around 30 degrees isn’t too much of an issue with the boys in blue. Know a 701 Enduro rider who’s had it like that for 2 years with no issues. Definitely not going to its MOT like that though! Interestingly it was the Salesman at the KTM Centre / Husky1903 that brought it to my attention! Will let you know how it goes and if I end up getting a tail tidy. Many thanks again, really enjoying the professionalism and entertainment of your vids.
Thanks for the feedback Robbie . Some great videos on your channel. I see you sold your Husky. I've bought a Wings exhaust, DNA stage 2 filter and my plan is to fit soon and get the bike mapped. How did you get on with your wings set up? Thank for watching 👍
@@POUSEouttatheHOUSE Thanks. I appreciate that. I did sell the husky with some regret lol but I went and got a 23 690 smc r a couple of months back and I’ve done the same mod. Wings exhaust and CRT fuel optimiser. It’s made a huge difference to the 690 as standard it was really lean low down. On the Husky I didn’t really ride it that much before I did the mods to it so couldn’t really compare but as that was a 21 Euro 5 model like the 690 I’d say it probably ran the same.
@Robbiemoto I noticed you'd bought a 690. Fancied a change of colour? 🤣 I saw one like yours on the road for the first time the other day, nice colours 👍 Thanks for the info on the husky. Mine definitely runs lean at times. I'm hoping a remap will sort it out. Just need to find time to get it all done now!
@@POUSEouttatheHOUSE I sold the husky purely being offered good money for it. After seeing strapped to a trailer and going down the road I thought bollocks I shouldn’t have done that lol. I got the 690 by chance. Speaking to the dealer I got my 1290 SDR from and they were selling their demo bike a couple grand less than brand new price and it only had 175 miles on it. So bosh I had it lol. I will eventually get it remapped but for now and the cost of it the fuel optimiser does the job very well.
It is a huge difference to stock but it's not as extreme as cutting it down. I like it as it reuses the Husky tail light, it's road legal in the UK, it's plug and play and being a Husky part it keeps the authenticity of the bike but that's just a personal decision. They should really just sell the bike with this as standard! Thanks for watching 👍
In the UK I got mine from Fowlers in Bristol. They order from husqvarna. They had no issue. Maybe try Husqvarna direct as it's on their website under the technical accessories list. Hope that helps. Thanks for watching 👍
Your number plate hasn’t got any numbers or letters on it, is that legal? Your paving joints need a bit of work, the moss will take over if you don’t keep on top of it. No thanks needed 👍

You have another sub 👍🏻

The plate I've ordered isn't too bad but as standard the are pretty big! Thanks for watching 👍
Helped me alot with my '23 Husqvarna 701 Supermoto! Can't get better than this. Thanks!
Glad it helped, happy riding 👍

I found removing the fuel cap helps with taking that rear panel off.

Good post, thanks👍
Glad you liked it 👍
Can't see where you made that big a difference. It kinda looks like the stock one

What dimensions is your new number plate?
5x7 inches. Are you a police officer? 🤣
@@POUSEouttatheHOUSE😂 no no quite the opposite
Ive just fitted a 7x5 plate. Lets see what South Yorkshire police think of it!😂😂😂
I'm sure you'll be fine, let me know! Thanks for watching 👍

It was cheaper to purchase without the numbers and letters. As for the driveway, just doing my bit for the wildlife!
