I went Lureless in TTO for an even worse reason. For whatever reason, 10 year old me thought that Lure would just make the cogs do more damage when up-close. Boy, did I ever regret that.
Watching this 5 years later and realizing we did the same exact thing except I decided to think a little bit and chose lure over trap. Only because I can’t land trap without lure
I remember that in TTO and in TTR I would max my gags before I would start any tasks. For example before starting any of the ttc tasks I would max throw and squirt then I would do the tasks. Then before I started the donalds dock tasks I would max sound, and repeated that cycle throughout all the playgrounds. On my first toon I went toon-up less.
I didn't learn the difference between "just for fun" tasks and regular tasks until about half way through Toontown Central. Luckily it didn't take that long to figure out at least.
My childhood descisions on tto was exactly that. I barelydid any toontasks and i didnt have any gag tracks aside from throw and squirt... Yeah, i didnt take toontown seriously at all back then.
Even 9 year old me chose wisely and went dropless lul. But 13 year old me in TTR decided to go to derp-land while choosing the gag track for MML. I accidentally picked trap over sound. I spaced the hell out. I was planning to go trapless, and that boned me. Well, I ended up picking sound over drop and went dropless again despite my interest of using a gag track I've never used before. I mean, trap is much more useful in the Lawbot DA Offices (my favorite cog facility for sure) but it's a struggle in the golf courses.
I was 4 when I started TTO... But, then again, my mom mainly educated me since she had (at least) 2 maxed toons and she had free time. I forget my main points of getting my toon almost maxed out, but my mom also was friends with other people playing TTO so they also helped me... So I don't have that great of story... eheh... But now, I'm failing, because I've forgotten some of the main things, and it might just be my introverted-ness/social anxious-ness getting in the way of me panicking and choosing the wrong gag when in battles with others.
I remember when I was like 3 or 4 or something my grandpa introduced toontown to me, and we fell in love with it. (And yes my grandpa enjoyed playing video games for long periods of time). We created a toon call "Little Wrinkle Scooter", and he was a tall tan dog. We maxed him out on everything in a about a year or two. When he walked into a room, everyone wanted him on their boarding group. He had every single gag, unite, sos, fire, etc. imaginable. Then one day, just out of curiosity, I wanted to delete him for the fun of it. Worst mistake of my life. I had to start from the ground up and it took YEARS. I don't know how my grandpa and I did it so quickly, but it was HARD. That was my very terrible mistake.
I never had a membership on TTO but on TTR I was working on my toon, a cat named Clever Cappy (don’t ask. I don’t know either) So I went ToonUpLess on my toon because I was watching ToonTown videos (I can’t remember the guys name but I know he doesn’t do ToonTown stuff much if at all anymore) and he was always like ‘you don’t need toon up. ToonUpLess toons are the strongest’ To this day I don’t know why I ultimately made that decision because it means I can only really be on offense instead of trying to heal others
When I was a kid, I went soundless because i saw the description "hits all cogs but doesnt do a lot of damage" and thought that meant it was weak and useless. I also didn't finish Donald's Dreamland until I was 117 laff because I had picked a task to do 100 5+ story buildings and was stuck on it for well over a year.
Just rewatched this video, it made me remember that when I was younger I thought toons could get access to all gags, I also thought if one were to get all gags then they'd be the "king of ToonTown" or the "queen of ToonTown".
I was that memberless toon stuck at lure and drop task. In the meantime, I tried maxing out whatever was possible on an account without membership. 1999/2000 on throw, squirt and sound, 10 racing trophies thanks to grand prix events in the Spring and 40/70 fish with twig rod. (Yeah I caught devil ray in TTC). Good times.
First I went with toonup because I thought sound seemed lame because it didn't do much damage. Then I went with drop for the same reason as you.. and then trap because "wow most powerful in the game?!"-- then I was left with the futile sound or lure decision. I went with lure and that's how I ended up soundless. But I'm grateful for it because it forced me to develop good gameplay strategies and to grow a thicker skin in the game.
I did the same thing in my childhood, i thought lure was useless because it didn't do damage. I had also chosen to do 100 5+ story cog buildings during ddl.
I went soundless in TTR because... I already felt that because I maxed it in TTO, there was no point for me to do it again... I don't regret my decision.
so i just NOW found out that lure is a better choice than drop in donald's dock, which means i'm lureless all the way until the brrrgh and i have to do the stupid 20-buildings task to get it and AAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
I didn't even know what I was doing when I was playing TTO lol. I was a child with no knowledge of how the game worked at the time, but I believe I chose sound on my main toon. I just simply ran around ToonTown, doing the fun stuff for most of the years that I played it. Funny story though that's not really about a failure of mine: I was in a Sellbot Field Office at one point with three other people. I either dreamed this or it happened, but the other three toons died (their laff and gags were what I didn't pay attention to) and I was the only toon that came out of that Field Office. I have no idea how it happened, but I was blessed with outstanding dodging skills, considering I was probably a 25 to maybe even 35 laff toon? It was wild and I was on the edge of going sad the rest of the way through lol
I think my gag story was a little worse. So first I picked Toon Up since I thought I would be able to heal myself (I have no idea why). Then I picked Drop because I thought it would be more powerful. Then I picked Trap because I saw a high level toon use dynamite and I thought it looked cool. My final choice was between Lure and Sound, I was going to pick sound but I started watching Coach Z at the time who said no toon should ever go lureless, so I listened to him and went soundless... It made finding boarding groups pretty hard. Anyways I love these Toontown stories videos since it reminds me of all the stuff I did back on TTO. Keep up the great content :)
I dont know why but I think I might make the same mistake you did. I already have my toon up and I choosed drop today, I will try and choose lure next time.
On my very first toon, I went without Toon-Up, although there was a period of time where I had chose trap without the ability to lure. I remember explaining it to my brother, being like: "Everyone else chooses lure! Surely everyone can lure the cogs into my traps for me!"
i remember i was very young back when ttr came out i grinded the game but i had no idea whether to get tu or sound first my brothers said tu so i picked it and i kid you not before we got out of donalds dock i had high dive cause we would always be that person with 25 laff doing bullions but then they also told me to get drop so i did and just at the end of mml i had toontanic while still having like level 5 squirt and throw gags that was the weirdest toon i had ever made
i quit the game for a year because i chose a 100 5+ story building toontask. i thought i would train my gags so much that i would end up completing the task in the process. needless to say, i was wrong.
YES YES YES!!!! I'm laughing so hard right now because you & me, we're so much alike with our poor gag choices except for that fact that I made worse choices & I was older, plus, I finished DDL tasks before CBHQ opened up. I went toonup, drop, for practically the same reasons but I chose toonup because I liked healing people, it actually is one of my favorite gags. I was planning on choosing sound next time I had the chance because my friend had it & I thought it was cool but then I was like trap? I never seen anyone use that before, I'll pick it & then choose lure next so I can have lure to go with my trap, I'll get sound last. Yeah.... poor little me didn't know I could never get sound if I did that. What makes us different is that I didn't mind drop's low accuracy, I actually usually hit with it but that might be because I did almost everything with my friend who had sound so she'd stun them without us knowing what that was even. I had almost no trouble training drop but I was completely flipped having this high toon & not being maxed in trap. I hated trap so much so that when I raised up my second highest toon, I went trapless. Trap & I now aren't enemies anymore, I kinda like it but I'm always gonna be a fan of drop. Being soundless sucked but if I could go back & change my choice, I honestly wouldn't because it helped shaped my to be the player I am today. I actually started with sound on Corporate Clash on my bat I made & plan to go without squirt & zap because I don't want to be strong, I'm raising up a secondary toon that currently has squirt & zap to be that strong toon. I want different experiences every time I play because if I raised a toon the same way every time, it would get boring & if I went trapless on Salty in the beginning, I probably would of just gone trapless on all my toons plus not be as strategic as I have to be sometimes, I know where to direct the toons who don't have sound yet on where to attack if we're all using sound or I know when to heal as well as other things. Regarding the mint thing, oh my gosh I did the 15 dollar mint supervisors task, it took me so long to complete it that I told everyone in school I completed that task the day after I did so even though most people didn't know what on earth I was talking about. I feel you there. Now, if you want some truly hard tasks, I have no excuse for this because I chose these tasks on my second highest toon, the one that went trapless & I know what I was doing when playing her.... supposedly, I um, took the task to defeat 100 5 story cog buildings. Yeah, real smart... NOT! Never doing something like that again.
Well I always love seeing old stuff, if you ever have the time to dig up old screenshots and upload them somewhere like an imgur album or something I'd be happy to look through them! It is quite funny considering the timeline of things and how it relates.
When I can find my flash drive, I'll probably put them up & share them with you. If you ever need any for whatever reason, you're free to use mine. I do have a ton from the orange name tag days & plenty from before level 7s came out. Oh! I have some of the tunnel leading to Polar Place before LBHQ came out, don't know if I ever took any of the tunnel before CBHQ opened but I probably did, I have probably over a thousand to look through. Didn't know about screenshots in 2003 so sadly, none of the Oak Street tunnel before SBHQ opened.
Back in TTO at Donald's Dock, I was gonna choose lure but my tiny idiot clicked drop thinking it was lure but I went with it because I didn't want to start over. Oh well. At least I fixed my mistake in TTR
I never played TTO so my first experience was on TTR and so my childish instincts came out even though I was 19 xD I also went lureless because WOW DROP COOL and WOW TRAP COOL, but honestly I love being lureless and dont regret it at all, actually almost half my toons are lureless because its my favorite gag set up!
I literally made the worst decisions possible in TTO for every choice Chose Toon-Up over Sound because Sound was weak Chose Drop over Lure because Lure didn't do any damage Chose Trap over Sound because Sound was weak and Trap was strong By the time I had to pick between Lure and Sound I actually knew how to play the game.. and chose Lure
Ultra oof, going lureless sounds like a nightmare! But hey, at the very least, you had enough sense to get toon-up, nothing irked me more then encountering a toon with everything BUT toon-up back in the day. Back in TTO, I went trapless, which was fine, though as you said, drop took forever to train. I've been playing again recently on TTR, and I've gotten to melody land, and I still can't decide whether I want to go without drop or without trap.
I don't think I ever got past the Brrrgh. I was level 84. I don't think I stopped because a task was hard or anything, I just after a while stopped 'trying', and just played Toontown to defeat buildings and play the activities.
For some reason, I just never did any tasks, like at all. I would just run around the different streets fighting cogs with my 15 laff points and level 3 throw and squirt gags. Did this for longer than I care to admit. Though in my defense I was like 7
my final task in tto was 400 2+ story buildings, either that or 200 4+. And I did shop around, those were the only two I could find. (Seriously.) so I did what any normal toon would do. Solo grind 400 2 or 3 story buildings in like 3-4 days... it was not fun lol
My first toon on TTO only got to MML. I picked Sound > Drop > Trap I think. Means I would of been stuck going lureless or toonupless. I wonder what younger me would of picked if I got to The Brrrgh...
XD I made the same mistake as you! I was lureless! Biggest mistake I made! I remade my old TTO toon in TTRL so I fix my mistake! But if I become staff then I will max the toon and go, "Well! That fixs everything! From this day on I WILL NEVER DROP!"
I also grabbed a 800 cog task that took me 5 months to complete because I kept going into VP, CFO, Factories, Mints, field offices and bldgs. I was a boss! And plus I was kind enough to help friends.
I had similar tasks in TTR but I lined them up to all work with sellbot so I could just grind my sellbot suit, like 500 sellbots, 600 sellbots, 20 factories or something along those lines.
i dont think i ever finished any gag training on tto, i was too young to really have any idea what to do but run around the playgrounds. in ttr, i stopped playing for awhile and started playing later when i was more aware and im going toon-up first, drop, sound and then lure. i wish i had done sound earlier on instead of drop.
I went trapless on my first TTO toon. I was lucky enough to level with someone who new what they were doing and picked everything they told me to pick.
ahh i remember when i used to play tto my siblings would have to play my toon as i was a very stupid kid so one day i got so angry i started shouting at them so they let me play my toon from the brrrgh so it was my time to pick my last gag and i nearly picked drop concidering the other gag was sound so yh i get a toon and about to make my toon soundless. ahh good times
I went trapless on my tto main that I made in 2003 when the game first came out. And played right before toontowns closing. I remember after that update seeing the closing message and how devastated I was. I had really good gags for my laff (as a kid I never did many tasks as I just wanted to have fun) and by the time tto closed I was 3 points away from piano. Drop is a mistake I’d never make again. And considered getting it again in my rewrite of my main for the sake of originality but I clearly chose not to since it really really isn’t worth it
does anybody remember when in tto the people in ttc that didnt have membership would crowd around people training trap cuz it was so rare you saw people using it, ahh the old days
ugh i literally picked toonup over sound went soundless and i had throw maxed out by the time i was in daisy gardens but my squirt was lackingggg because i use to just be like throw is more damage so thats what i want to use.i was so slow
When i was 2 (i played tto with my grandmas help) I would always be really scared of the Vp, and whenever i would go on there id scream and run and my grandma would do it for me XD
I went lureless on my main on TTO because I was young and didn't like the color green. But even on TTR I remade my toon and went laurels again, I don't mind it I actually love drop. Drop was easier to max when I made it organic.
For some reason on TTO, I thought I didn't need sound, so I didn't get until the Brrrgh. I remember getting up to DDL, and doing a couple mints with only bugle/aoogah. 10 Year Old me was an idiot...
when i got to the brrrgh back in tto i had to chose between lure or sound (i didn't pick sound in ttc and i didn't pick lure in donald's dock and didn't pick sound in mml) and what gag did i pick in the brrrgh....i picked lure
I used to make sure I got my training frames in numerical order even if that meant a worse task. Though usually I just did what he older brothers told me to.
I chose trap over sound in MML on my first toon. Thank goodness for TTR because I went with sound>lure>toonup>drop on that and even though I'm 108 laff with a safe, it's better than 108 laff with an elephant trunk
I didn't pay for the original game, so when I came to TTR, I did the same dumb choice of picking drop instead of lure when i had the choice... thanks god I actually came to like drop a lot haha
i did like the worst possible route as well in tto. i went toon-up first, you know reasonable, then got drop (for the same reason you did), but instead of going sound there, I went trap... I didnt get sound until mml and coz i didnt have lure i realised i had no way to train trap xd I only had a horn and whistle in ddl. i was a silly child.
I went Trapless. It's one of the better ways to go... Soundless or ToonUpless is AWFUL, plz dont do that. Many people go Dropless. Drop is difficult to train, but by lvl 4 drop it hits almost every time for me.
@TuxerTuxar I posted this comment 5 years ago what are you doing here Anyways I have grown to be a gamer who dislikes using OP things. I like me a bit of a challenge!
I went Lureless in TTO for an even worse reason.
For whatever reason, 10 year old me thought that Lure would just make the cogs do more damage when up-close.
Boy, did I ever regret that.
oops
_wow_
I think it even explains in-game that they can't attack you when lured
Watching this 5 years later and realizing we did the same exact thing except I decided to think a little bit and chose lure over trap. Only because I can’t land trap without lure

good thing you knew that before the later tasks, some of them aren't fun at all
My childhood decision in tto was to be lazy and not beat the game :/
me irl
On tto I got 35 on 2 toons that was it ttr like 100 25 or under toons 6 dd toons 1 dg 2 mml a 70 108 and 109
As a kid, i just completed toontown central and then never progressed any further. i just goofed around all the time!
My childhood descisions on tto was exactly that. I barelydid any toontasks and i didnt have any gag tracks aside from throw and squirt... Yeah, i didnt take toontown seriously at all back then.
same
Even 9 year old me chose wisely and went dropless lul.

💀💀 i would always get my toons super far and then id just delete them just because i can
I never had a membership on TTO but on TTR I was working on my toon, a cat named Clever Cappy (don’t ask. I don’t know either)
So I went ToonUpLess on my toon because I was watching ToonTown videos (I can’t remember the guys name but I know he doesn’t do ToonTown stuff much if at all anymore) and he was always like ‘you don’t need toon up. ToonUpLess toons are the strongest’
To this day I don’t know why I ultimately made that decision because it means I can only really be on offense instead of trying to heal others
drop is the greatest track in the gmae
When I was a kid, I went soundless because i saw the description "hits all cogs but doesnt do a lot of damage" and thought that meant it was weak and useless. I also didn't finish Donald's Dreamland until I was 117 laff because I had picked a task to do 100 5+ story buildings and was stuck on it for well over a year.
Caira i choose 200 5 story buildings and just finished it after 3 months
Just rewatched this video, it made me remember that when I was younger I thought toons could get access to all gags, I also thought if one were to get all gags then they'd be the "king of ToonTown" or the "queen of ToonTown".
i went soundless on my main, i was a mouse on TTO. i was always hated. i regretted it for years, and i still do to this day.
I can beat you with the whole drop gag thing. I had a 118 laugh toon by the end of TT. The highest drop gag I had was anvil......
Never played tto when I was younger but I would probably made the same mistakes you did
In TTO, I basically made my brothers into my slaves and made them do all my ToonTasks while I sat around ttc doing game shows.
First I went with toonup because I thought sound seemed lame because it didn't do much damage. Then I went with drop for the same reason as you.. and then trap because "wow most powerful in the game?!"-- then I was left with the futile sound or lure decision. I did the same thing in my childhood, i thought lure was useless because it didn't do damage. I had also chosen to do 100 5+ story cog buildings during ddl.
rip
Dropless is the way to go
I went soundless in TTR because... I already felt that because I maxed it in TTO, there was no point for me to do it again...
I don't regret my decision.
so i just NOW found out that lure is a better choice than drop in donald's dock, which means i'm lureless all the way until the brrrgh and i have to do the stupid 20-buildings task to get it and AAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
lol i made my tto toon dropless because i liked how all the gags looked in order

I think my gag story was a little worse.
So first I picked Toon Up since I thought I would be able to heal myself (I have no idea why).

It made finding boarding groups pretty hard. Anyways I love these Toontown stories videos since it reminds me of all the stuff I did back on TTO. Keep up the great content :)
the hardest struggle, that might be the first time I've ever heard someone have it come down to lure or sound in the brrrgh lmao
Librarian Larry had the same story as you lmao
I went through the same route as you did in TTO! ^^;
I dont know why but I think I might make the same mistake you did. I already have my toon up and I choosed drop today, I will try and choose lure next time.

Anteaterman23 SAME
I had toon up and drop in daisy's garden, hated training drop, and then deleted the toon
I like being in groups of people and not going solo much so I really haven’t experienced much bad stuff going lureless
i remember i was very young back when ttr came out i grinded the game but i had no idea whether to get tu or sound first my brothers said tu so i picked it and i kid you not before we got out of donalds dock i had high dive cause we would always be that person with 25 laff doing bullions but then they also told me to get drop so i did and just at the end of mml i had toontanic while still having like level 5 squirt and throw gags that was the weirdest toon i had ever made
in TTO I never actually played the game. I just played on the trolley and such.
Lure was the last gag track i picked for my ttr toon now
i quit the game for a year because i chose a 100 5+ story building toontask. i thought i would train my gags so much that i would end up completing the task in the process. needless to say, i was wrong.

Back in TTO at Donald's Dock, I was gonna choose lure but my tiny idiot clicked drop thinking it was lure but I went with it because I didn't want to start over.
Oh well. At least I fixed my mistake in TTR
I CHOSE 25 BULLIONS ON TTR I RELATE
I thought it said 25 cogs in the bullion mint :(
I went lureless on my main toon, too
I never played TTO so my first experience was on TTR and so my childish instincts came out even though I was 19 xD I also went lureless because WOW DROP COOL and WOW TRAP COOL, but honestly I love being lureless and dont regret it at all, actually almost half my toons are lureless because its my favorite gag set up!
I literally made the worst decisions possible in TTO for every choice
Chose Toon-Up over Sound because Sound was weak
Chose Drop over Lure because Lure didn't do any damage
Chose Trap over Sound because Sound was weak and Trap was strong
By the time I had to pick between Lure and Sound I actually knew how to play the game.. and chose Lure
On TTO when I was little I was a 100% noob and I didn't do any of the tasks, I only had a level 3 throw and squirt.
The free trial experience as I call it
I don't think I ever got past the Brrrgh. I was level 84. I don't think I stopped because a task was hard or anything, I just after a while stopped 'trying', and just played Toontown to defeat buildings and play the activities.
Megasnoop is great for TTR guides.
This came out on my birthday, and i love toontown..... hmm....
My dumb childhood decisions was not having a computer before 2013
I went lureless because I just wanted a challenge. I never got invited to CEOs.
Well, im soundless on ttr because i was soundless on tto because i was a kid and didn't know any better
My first toon on TTO only got to MML. I picked Sound > Drop > Trap I think. Means I would of been stuck going lureless or toonupless. I wonder what younger me would of picked if I got to The Brrrgh...
My first act I was lureless
My toon was the same on tto. But I got smart enough in the brrrgh to choose lure
Lol my first toon went lureless! 😂
honorable cousins
I literally did the exact same as you on my main back in tto I feel your pain
*Little Loopy breaks his computer as drop misses*
When I first started TTR I was like 9-10 amnd I did the same thing and I regret what I have done.
Wow. I mostly focused on sellbot but TTO closed before I could max my suit
uh i had no problem maxing and soloing anything on lureless ...
i dont think i ever finished any gag training on tto, i was too young to really have any idea what to do but run around the playgrounds. in ttr, i stopped playing for awhile and started playing later when i was more aware and im going toon-up first, drop, sound and then lure. i wish i had done sound earlier on instead of drop.
That's what I did on my main toon on ttr, on lil oldman now about to get lure
When I was really young I chose 500 5 story buildings and that’s how I chose my fate.
I went trapless on my first TTO toon. I was lucky enough to level with someone who new what they were doing and picked everything they told me to pick.
I went soundless on my main toon... lol
A year or two later I started a 2nd toon with sound, but before I could get him maxed TTO closed. R.I.P
TTO TERMINATED ME BEFORE I GOT THE WEDDING CAKEI DID NOTHING WRONG I WAS 8 YEARS OLD DUDE. I made up for it tho, I have the wedding cake on ttr
ahh i remember when i used to play tto my siblings would have to play my toon as i was a very stupid kid so one day i got so angry i started shouting at them so they let me play my toon from the brrrgh so it was my time to pick my last gag and i nearly picked drop concidering the other gag was sound so yh i get a toon and about to make my toon soundless. ahh good times
you almost pulled a Smirky Bumberpop
I picked sound, then drop, then toonup. Never got far enough to pick my final track
And considered getting it again in my rewrite of my main for the sake of originality but I clearly chose not to since it really really isn’t worth it
I went dropless because of its stupid training
does anybody remember when in tto the people in ttc that didnt have membership would crowd around people training trap cuz it was so rare you saw people using it, ahh the old days
ugh i literally picked toonup over sound went soundless and i had throw maxed out by the time i was in daisy gardens but my squirt was lackingggg because i use to just be like throw is more damage so thats what i want to use.i was so slow
I went lifeless and I regret it and I dont wanna restart 🙃
Which task would you pick:
1 cog
Anywhere
Reward 99 laff
2467 vp 44 CFO 5777 cj 344555 ceo's
Reward 1 jellybean
massive idiot the second one
when i was a kid i went toon up less. boy that was a huge mistake lemme tell ya
i was a toon valley kid so i only got to daisy's in 4 years 🙃🙃
child me went soundness, could've been worse.
The worst decision I made in toontownwas I thought it would be a smart idea when I got in the brrrgh to choose drop over sound
My childhood decision was to be a soundless toon.
i chose toon up then drop them sound then lure. i am trapless
When i was 2 (i played tto with my grandmas help) I would always be really scared of the Vp, and whenever i would go on there id scream and run and my grandma would do it for me XD
xD
I never liked training drop because its so Grindy to train.
Yeah me either, I think I've come around to it more now though as I've gotten older and a bit more patient.
Just slightly though.
If it makes you feel any better, I was Soundless.
It was either that or go Lureless. Somehow that makes it even worse.
I was dumb and was lureless in TTO. I am trapless in TTR now on the remade toon.
I like drop. I made a bad choice though of skipping TU.
I went lureless, cause I was a 7 year old who thought it wasn't needed to use trap...I was wrong...
Also the description didn't help the decision either "For whatever reason you would ever want a cog closer to you"
I went lureless on my main on TTO because I was young and didn't like the color green. But even on TTR I remade my toon and went laurels again, I don't mind it I actually love drop. Drop was easier to max when I made it organic.
I thought Sound was weak because I was like, Sound can't heart someone,
So I went soundless.
...I was like 12 alright?
For some reason on TTO, I thought I didn't need sound, so I didn't get until the Brrrgh. I remember getting up to DDL, and doing a couple mints with only bugle/aoogah.
10 Year Old me was an idiot...
my first toon was the same ^^
same! in ttr
Same
I had the exact same situation, I was 112 laff and played since 2006, I only got up to safe and TNT because I hated drop so much, I feel your pain
pls make more of these toontown tales if you have more to share, they are so entertaining lol and i just listened through the playlist while playing
when i got to the brrrgh back in tto i had to chose between lure or sound (i didn't pick sound in ttc and i didn't pick lure in donald's dock and didn't pick sound in mml) and what gag did i pick in the brrrgh....i picked lure
when i was younger, i couldn't figure out how to get toon-up training so i never made it past ttc. i was a very dumb
I used to make sure I got my training frames in numerical order even if that meant a worse task. Though usually I just did what he older brothers told me to.
I chose trap over sound in MML on my first toon. Thank goodness for TTR because I went with sound>lure>toonup>drop on that and even though I'm 108 laff with a safe, it's better than 108 laff with an elephant trunk
yeah rewritten let us do just what it's name says on our toons lmao
LoopyGoopyG Mhm. Still mad at my childhood self for that stupid decision, but hey at least I can start over.
It's fine, I'm 95 laff with a big weight.
im 107 laff with a big weight :(
I didn't pay for the original game, so when I came to TTR, I did the same dumb choice of picking drop instead of lure when i had the choice... thanks god I actually came to like drop a lot haha
I've come around a lot more on drop since then tbh
i did like the worst possible route as well in tto. i went toon-up first, you know reasonable, then got drop (for the same reason you did), but instead of going sound there, I went trap...
Did I make a bad decision making sound and drop my first two new gags?
idk.
I really wanted to get drop in tto, but wasn't a member, so it was the first gag I got in ttr. Lure was my last. Oops.
GO TEAM DROP!
my idiotic decision went like this
Toonup
Drop
Trap
Lure
my tto toon was soundless because i hated sound for the fact it was op
my choice was basically the same except i picked sound instead of trap
_ahem,_ I feel like younger you should have understood that it's better to choose something that's OP, rather than just not have it at all
@TuxerTuxar I posted this comment 5 years ago what are you doing here
Anyways I have grown to be a gamer who dislikes using OP things. I like me a bit of a challenge!
My decision was to teleport to friends when they were in boss battles and go sad instantly...
I chose drop, and I am proud of my decision. Its mostly because I have the best luck when it comes to drop.
