"Tinmama" 1940 Chevy build FOR MOM (Ep. 9) Building Fuel Tank

TINMAMA is back! After the crazy SEMA push for the last 8 months, I finally have some time to get back on the video editing grind. The car made it to SEMA and is now complete, but I am still going to show ya'll the entire process. The series continues with building a fuel cell/tank from scratch. This is a 1940 2dr chevy sedan that I am building for my mother. It has been sitting in our backyard since 1990. Dad always had hopes and dreams of building it for her, but he never got to it, so in 2017 I started on it, full time. Thanks for watching! Great looking work man. I appreciate all the info you share as well. Being a newb and wanting to try doing smaller but similar projects like this at home you have no idea how helpful it is to just know what kind of steel or what size welding wire you use for these type of projects. Can u use that por15 fuel tank sealer on aluminum fuel tanks?

Good question! I'm not 100% sure offhand. Aluminum is a tricky material to paint/coat. I'd shoot por-15 a message on social media it give them a call
