    I've gained a whole load of respect to you after watching this video. Especially after the school example - you were so open about it. And if there's something I really like about a business person - it's them being real. You were such an influence in financing that school play! Even though your pizza spot gained more from it, still: The school play happened, people got their food (like they would anyway, sooner or later), so it's a win-win!

    I have a question it’s more of a delivery question. The dominos I work at has a 6.0 mile delivery radius. A customer will order online for delivery because we’re the only delivery service that will deliver to them because it’s about a 15-20 minute trip just going up to the location. The customer will callback everytime and say her order is cold and would like a new order. Going forward what would be the correct approach on making sure the customer gets a hot fresh pizza? I’ve offered the customer to pick up but doesn’t want to drive 20 mins .

      great question, and sorry we missed this, usually we reply in 24 hours. A couple of things: Obviously that is a VERY large delivery area, so I am wondering where this is. Also, I would try timing it so there is a driver waiting as soon as it exits the oven and not sending another order on the way. Maybe you have tried this already, let me know. There are other options on the customer service end, so I will try to see if we can release the next video to address that end of it

      Usually when this person orders I’ll put it in the oven when the driver is about 4-5 mins away from the store. This store is located in Northern California, however there’s another dominos about 20 mins away from this location. I also inform the customer the address is further than normal routes so please be patient and we will fulfill
      Your order. Not even Uber eats, door dash or any other delivery service will deliver to them since it’s so far but there great customers, each order is about 150.00-200.00

      Also I forgot to mention the online allows a 6.0 mile radius which is the maximum but there address is 6.5 miles from the store to the house. So essentially 1 driver will be gone for about 40+mins just on 1 order

      @@diplomatikghost6.0 radius is insane. I own a Chicago Pizza franchise, and our max is 5 miles DRIVING, not radius. Not to mention, I have 20+ pizza places within a 5 miles radius from me and NONE of them deliver in house, so we truly are the only people that have in house. We used to do 6 miles, but it was way too crazy, especially on Friday and Saturdays. Most stores nowadays only do 3-4 miles, so I’d probably suggest that. Also, what kind of delivery bags do you guys use? Are they domino’s specific? We use cambro bags, and I never had any issues with customers saying their food is cold. Very bizarre.

      That is out of the world average ticket and delivery time. I know it is had to reduce delivery area, but there is just no way you are profiting and those times (particularly if you have to return with a remake for free)
