Two of the five best performing schools in the entire Uk for exam results are in black neighbourhoods. There is a thing called code switching that black working class kids do but they can speak well.

      Yeah, he did. Now that I think about it, I'm almost certain he's that British rapper I saw being interviewed on Tavis Smiley about a year or so ago (he also performed on there, I think) because he had braids also and was talking about Brit history as it pertained to black folks and Shakesphere. By far, one of the better interviews that VLAD produced. I understand that VLAD'S goal is to document people that are relevant or achieved or have a story that must be heard; or otherwise it would never be documented. Vlad would interview people that no one else would touch. I've never heard of AKALA, but I thoroughly enjoyed his intellect on the subjects he spoke about. I'd like to see more interviews of this caliber, I don't care to hear about some rapper boasting about how much money he made selling drugs or how many people he killed, and the amount of time he spent in prison! This interview was a breath of fresh air. And very informative! Even VLAD was impressed! More interviews like this please, and you'll see your subscribers start to soar! 😄😄😄

      ***** I said white people meaning the people that subscribe to that people culture. You don't have white skin do you ? Therefore I'm not talking about your skin colour dummy. Im talking about your peoples culture in general historically. To rob and steal and justify it by claiming that you are more civilised. Or to say "if you resist arrest you should get shot" or "it's just names - get over it".
      "White" is a synonym for western european. So no one is inherently guilty of a crime based on skin colour - but guilty based on a supremacist culture that you benefit from and get treated better than others that have more melanin, yes.

    This is very interesting... It's funny how he speaks about them having a 200 year old educational system over in parts of England and that same educational system is what they use in America... The educational system was built to make workers for factories and warehouses... The public school system education is not made for people to become successful entrepreneurs it is made to create workers for the ones who already have the warehouses businesses and franchises... And people are always wondering why is the education system so behind why it doesn't teach children things that they need to know and that will be useful in the real world after they're done in high school... It is because it's not meant to teach them how to better themselves it's meant to teach them how to basically read and write and work for others.

    • @amaxwiththefacts
      @amaxwiththefacts 4 года назад +1

      Yes, but schools can be very beneficial if you know how to use the system. You use the system, don't let the system use you. Yes, let your children to have good grades and straight A's. But also, get your children involved in extra curriculum activities. Let your child become president of the school. Allow your children to join the Spelling Bee and get extra accomplishments in schools and get school awards, which your child could use on his/her resume. Many internships and part-time jobs are also advertised in schools.

      Nirujan P. What’s wrong with him being for blacks first. No one else cares for us. This is why we can’t develop, too busy caring for everyone else before us. We must be our own priority. This is what Malcolm taught us. ‘Our apologies are black and our sympathies are with blacks’. Before you we can help others we must help ourselves. Pan African nationalism is putting Africans first. It doesn’t mean hate others but we help Africans globally.

    • @afrocentricalbion

      @@tianaprince-nalwanga4375 I have heard him speak of the Scottish side of his family in other interviews. He's said that he grew up in London with members of the Caribbean side of his family and their social circles, in close proximity. The Scottish side of his family were in Scotland and so more distant. For that reason they were not the dominant influence in his life that the Caribbean side of his family were.

    I think what people need to realise is over here in the UK black people have only recently been given the opportunity to introduce our culture to an mainstream audience, before that it was only black Americans we got to see on tv shows. This is now changing we’re now seeing more of us on tv and our kids are growing up watching black brits, so trust me in a couple years time the world will know who we are.

    If Akala and his associates ever decided to design an educational structure, i.e a curriculum and subjects to learn about, with help provided in the way of understanding different people's learning preferences, I would pay thousands to go to that school. Imagine a curriculum that was decided by Akala and others who have a similar breadth of knowledge. Imagine how enlightening that would be. He has so much knowledge, he is so historically inclined, that is an education that would be worth paying for.
    (He may already do this in some aspects for all I know, but I just think this would be worthwhile)
