THE MOST FAMOUS CLIMB IN CALPE

- In this episode, we travel to Calpe and ride up one of the most famous climbs there: Coll de Rates. Around 600m high, the views were magnificent along the way up, with a fairly gentle gradient throughout. Calpe and the region is where a lot of cycling pros train and I had to go there to see for myself what the hype was all about. I would definitely choose to return to Calpe again for a winter cycling trip.

Hi Sk, thanks for watching. In all honesty I did but I cannot openly say because I might have to sleep on the couch tonight. Hahaha jokes aside, I mostly filmed only the cycling-related activities for the purposes of this cycling channel and meals otherwise were mostly home-cooked (occasionally filmed). I will bear in mind your comment for future trips though!

@@thewinsty Start with a tandem. Beginners use a mountain tandem with straight bars. You have to make it comfortable for her. Then when the speed of 2 is addictive, she will decide to try it on her own. But beware a tandem is either a marriage strengthener or a divorce maker. There is no in between.
