@carherinechang99. Apparently, I’m stalking you. Lol. I just saw you post a statement akin this one in the last video I watched. I must be watching recommended videos in the same order. It’s a Michael Jordan reaction video bug, I guess. Don’t worry. I’ll move on to a Simone Biles, or Fedor Emelianko reaction video kick, or some such. We humans all love perfection and mastery at the craft. It doesn’t matter if it’s calligraphy or *chaining a statue out of a log, or playing a sport. Edit: *Chainsawing.
This dude mastered fundamentals. Beyond mastered. The footwork is beautiful. His all around awareness of every player and how they play, he already knew how to beat you flying to your state to whip your ass. You dont see this anymore. Nobody cares about the fundamentals anymore. That's what made great players stand out. Now everybody on the team gets to shoot from 3 land. They need to go back to this style of play. The fundamentals are what makes all these young kids say things like man I'm sweating watching this or I wanna get out there and play again. It's his fundamentals that stand out. Mike is the most complete basketball player I've ever seen. He played at a time when players had a position and a role on the team. This wasn't position- less basketball. Jordan could pass with the best of them, but his position was SG. And before they started moving the goalpost to accommodate current players the "man" was the person who scored the points and you could count on to win the game for you.
Michael jeffrey jordan is the greatest basketball player of all time, The man was the averaging 200 dunks a season in his prime and ran a 4:38 fourty yard dash. This guy Was truly A video game character come to life.🐐🐐23
He ran a 4.38 forty in 1983 at UNC. He was at his fastest, however, in the 1989-90 season. That is without a doubt the apex year of Jordan's _speed._ He was 26-27 years old. And this fact shouldn't surprise anyone: traditionally, Olympic 100M sprinters reach their peak athleticism between 25 and 28 years old. Watch 1990 playoff footage vs the sixers & bucks. This was a healthy Jordan at his absolute speediest. His 40 at that time was likely 4.2 - 4.23 It's surprising to me how many people think he was faster & more athletic as a rookie. Watch his FT line dunk improvements from 1985, 1987, 1988 and then finally his FT line dunks at charity events from 89-91. In a 1990 charity event for Magic, Jordan was true to the line (like he was as a rookie, but had the flare and leg kick at least as smooth as 88).

I grew up watching Jordan and the man literally changed the game of basketball. The game was SO much more physical in the 80s & 90s. A lot people nowadays don’t even realize that he was one of the best defensive players as well. When he came into the league you could see how much faster he was than everyone else on the court. If you watch clips of games in his rookie season you can see that he was already playing on a different level. Everyone else on the court looked as though they were playing in slow motion compared to Jordan. I stopped watching the NBA in the early 2000’s as it’s “soft” compared to the game of the 80s & 90s. You breathe on a guy and they blow the whistle for a foul. There’s zero defense. They’ve watered the game down so much that I find it unwatchable. It doesn’t compare to the rivalries of Bulls/Pistons, Pacers with Reggie Miller, Knicks with Ewing, etc. etc. Forgive my rant but the game just isn’t the same anymore.
When being interviewed, Isiah Thomas and Joe Dumars of the Detroit Pistons aka The Bad Boyz…said that MJ averaged 37 points against them back in the day when they double teamed him down court, and some days MJ would get “hot”…meaning he’d score more than 37pts…imagine the amount of physical abuse they inflicted on MJ and yet he still averaged almost 40 pts per game during those 4 seasons of going head to head in the playoffs…I’m convinced there will never be another like MJ for a really long time…. If there is and that player can match or surpass what MJ did in 13 full seasons, then someone needs to check that player’s DNA because there’s a strong chance that they won’t be human….✌️👽🔥🎤

He also came out everyday with a cut throat attitude. He said there is always some kid in the arena that may not have seen him play and he owed it to them to come out and be 110%. This is before social media. He had a magical quality about him, like seeing Babe Ruth play someone you knew youd tell your kids about seeing live.
i think the reason why they always jump with Jordan is the era itself, alot of them average like 3-5 blocks a game MJ also has a higher career assist than Scottie
8:00 As an 80s baby, it’s epic to hear you say that. Michael should’ve been one of the first names you learned (I saw the Jacksons Live, but never witnessed JORDAN👊🏿👊🏿)
Michael Jordan shot those 6, 3 pointers when people said he couldn't shoot the ball. Michael Jordan is the best offensive and defensive player in the NBA. Never lost in the finals. If you want to see more watch Michael Jordan's highlights and defensive highlights. Michael Jordan is and always will be the G.O.A.T.
Never lost after Bird retired you mean. Michael is great do not get me wrong but even he admitted that if Bird hadn't retired the bulls most likely would never have won any series.
@@therabbits69you mean after Bird + McHale + Parish + Walton + Johnson, 5 HOFs, Celtics team that went on to win the championship, beat Chicago Bulls with MJ + some cokeheads
@@clay1108 Nope I mean bird alone. MJ literally stated that without Bird they would have walked all over the celtics. MJ never won a single series against them when Bird was playing. He fully gave all the credit to only Bird and said the others were pushovers.
MJ retired the first time after his father was murdered the summer after the 3rd championship. He said he didn't want to play if his dad couldn't watch him. The video of him crying on the floor of the locker room holding the ball was the 4th ring after he came back from retirement. He was grieving because his dad wasn't there to see him
Hands down the thing that I love the most and admire is just how much of a work ethic he had. Cut from JV had to work for this perfection. Didn’t just have these insane abilities but he worked his ass off his whole life to get better and better. It’s what made him into the best ever.
I remember so many of these from watching live. You can take one playoff series from the early 90’s and have more highlights from Jordan than most players’ whole careers. It is great to see all these old clips, but watching it live was a special treat every game. Every game.
Absolutely!!! Same here. The intrigue to not know what's going to happen but knowing that you were in for a treat every night you watched MJ. No one is as captivating as Jordan because no one plays as intense and as mindful every possession as Jordan and he was poetry in motion at the same time. Indescribable. Simply connects with your soul is the best way to describe it.
this is why younger generation defends Lebron as the goat when they have not seen how MJ plays. It just so different, in the 80-90s everyone JUST want to watch MJ's game. It's so exciting to watch!
80s and 90s was our best years to be alive ....life was soooo exciting and Jordan created a hype not seen or felt since.....I was a teen in the late 80s to early 90s, I wanted to be Mike like millions of fans did too....
When MJ came back from baseball, it was because of the baseball lockout that year. Contrary to popular belief, he was doing really well in baseball but he didn't wanna wait out the lockout and wanted to compete, so he un-retired from basketball
He was playing at an average type level. Which is pretty dam good even in AAA But wasn't a phenom in baseball or anything. But then you consider he only posted a short time. Yeah it's kinda amazing can't lie.
@eazye519 one of his coaches said another 1000 at bats and MJ would be on a major league team for sure. So yeah, he really was doing OK and getting better and better.
First time he retired was because his dad got killed. He couldn't deal with it, so he turned to baseball, which was a passion he had since he was a kid. He couldn't live away from basketball though, so about 1,5 years later, he started training with the Bulls again, and he joined back at around the playoffs of that year.
Larry Bird is beyond nice dont sleep on him But MJ is my personal goat The reason why defenders were so tight on him is because he was such a dead eye shooter You give him space its dropping and yeah he was also cat like quick and cheetah fast So thats they also jumped when he made a move...but they figured its better for him to attack the rim and make it more difficult with a big man there then let him shot open shots because he wouldn't miss probably
When Jordan play it is a work of art. He made it look so easy even if it is not. He is a poetry in motion. Very flawless move and so sweet and smooth even he is just a 6 foot 5 without shoes. His vertical is 48”. He can squeeze himself in traffic then do a hang time in clutch.
Great reaction! I suggest that U check out Michael Jordan PREDATOR & GRIM REAPER by Clutch23, or 96 Bulls UNLEASHED & LOCKDOWN + RED ASSAULT I,II,III (Clutch23 has countless MJ Vids), and includes Michael Jordan in Trieste Italy 1985 (shattered Backboard dunk).
Jordan did get a technical for the finger-wag against Dikembe, but he didn't care because Mutombo couldn't hold that over his head anymore. Good video, man. Good luck with your channel.
Every youtube channel that happens to be an NBA Basketball fan watches this MJ Bulls Mix Tape. It's a great video for a new-comer to use as an introduction to Michael. from the 1980's and 1990's for the 1st time. Just like Wuando mentioned in the video regarding current players and who is doing moves like MJ now-a-days. That character doesn't even exist in NBA Basketball History. Jordan is in a class of his own on another level. He's very different than any other player and shines like a Superstar. He's the GOAT and there will never be another Michael Jordan.
Antony Edwards, Jimmy Butler and Jaylem Brown plays a lot like Michael Jordan, of not at the same level, but Jimmy Butler in the previous playoffs was a beast, but man... i never see anyone flying like Jordan
MJ was just that much better than the rest, he made it look easy. Defenders just didn't know how to react anymore to his moves, because of all the fakes etc.
To see him was spectacular! I watched him win every single championship. You seriously have no idea the presence he had. He almost played every minute, but when he was on the court, everyone in the stadium knew where he was. Everyone watching at home knew where he was. I didn't get to see Larry play or magic and Larry play that would have been amazing, but I have never seen a player since that has his presence. Including Kobe, which is the best player since Jordan in my book. LeBrons' talent is up there, but he doesn't have the heart that any of the greats have.
In the 84 Olympics MJ and the best college kids played the NBA all stars like 8 times in July. College won EVERY game, and Magic said MJ was the best NBA player already. MJ was drafted in April of 84, MJ hadn't played one minute on an NBA floor yet.
His palm fakes were sick. Phil Jackson said that’s what gave him the edge over Kobe. He’d just move dudes around with the ball like he was Darth Vader using the force.
My Young Brutha, nobody is doing what Jordan did, back in the 80's and 90's! They keep trying to put LeBron on the same level as Jordan. But in all honesty, LeBron will never be on Jordan's level! Even with this In-Season Tournament win and MVP. Jordan was a Phenomen! Once in a Lifetime Player! Juuust sayin....🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️
Up all night playing cards and some drinking, game day couple games of golf while drinking 10 beers, walk in the arena smoking a cigar worth more than house and dominate both ends of the floor while making his peers look like mid school players. Smh🤯
He came back because Baseball went on a Strike. MJ was and still is the G.O.A.T. You had to just see him play in person.I He was a must see TV.The man’s game was something else. Larry Bird said MJ, was “God” in gym shoes.🐐🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆
He retired after his father was murdered. Dad always wanted him to be a baseball player, so that what he did as homage to his dad and to work through his grief. Then he came back and won 3 more. MVP of all 6 finals wins. Did not have to travel to be great (labron) and he was never hurt (once minor foot in second yr). He played sick and won.. NBA defensive player of the year 1987-88. Check out the old Spike Lee Nike commericals....Money its gotta be the shoes !
Man, I am 61 years old. Before he came you could be in the front row. We had a lot of fun. But when Jordan got there, the house was full. And we didn't know what was going on. But we found out.
Meet the G.O.A.T of all G.O.A.Ts we call him Air Jordan, His Airness, Flight 23 or simply the greatest basketball player in the history of the game. #23
When he came in the league, he scored 63 points on the Celtics as a newcomer. The Bulls lost the game, but Michael Jordan was named the MVP of the game.
People want to know why on two occasions Patrick let Jordan run by him? Patrick was the Knicks dominant scorer, Jordan would attack Patrick, if Patrick tried to stop Jordan every time he would foul out in the first quarter! Patrick was using his head!
I’ve seen lebron fans watch this video and it’s hilarious seeing Lebron fans finally see what we been telling them for years Mj the goat Kobe behind Mj. The 70’s- early 2000’s was the golden age of basketball because of the defense
Excellent, that's the correct way to comment this video , you are reacting to Michael Jeffrey Jordan , the only one how deserve to be named The Goat. And By far!
One thing to also pay attention to is the contact while in the air and notice the no call by the refs...a lot of these plays would be And-1 in this era so imagine another 5-10pts...but back then it was play on
If you haven't, react to "Scottie Pippen Retrospective". Jordan is my G.O.A.T., but you'll see why they're arguably the best duo in NBA history and why they have 6 rings
Really appreciate you really watching, b/c you paused after that no look layup and most just keep going as if they see that every night. He does it a few more times in this vid also. He was insane, if Magic wasn't already a nickname taken, it would have been his b/c the ish he did was crazy. Bird didn't beat MJ hell, to paraphrase Bird, that wasn't MJ out there, that was Jesus. One of the greatest teams ever assembled beat MJ and a Bulls team that wasn't ready to compete at that level. Pistons to beat him, had to literally try and take him, and other top stars, out of the game via physical play so out of line w/the rest of the league the rules were changed. btw, hated Bird back in the day, but it was for the same reason people hate MJ, he was just that damn good. You knew if he had the ball in his hands at the end of the game w/a shot to win it was likely over for your team. I wish they had kept the cut of Daly after MJ did that 180 no look layup over Laimbeer, he just face palmed, like how do you stop that?!? What made MJ so hard to guard is that he was capable of taking a shot at anytime from anywhere on the floor. That hesi you pointed out is b/c the guy thought he was going to drive to the hope, instead he cut made him run into the other defender for a little mid range. If you chose to guard him tight, he would go to the basket b/c he was faster than you, if you laid off preventing the drive, he just hit a mid range or 3. He let the opponent choose their death like he was Gozer the Gozerian. After every Bulls games that were on during the day, I went right out to the court to play basketball. He was inspiring. That season w/the high assists, I think is when they lost their PG and they weren't winning so they decided to have MJ play the point, I think he averaged a triple double, or really close, but they lost a good portion of those games and back slid into the playoffs. He never played point again, the team was just better when he was scoring and the def had to base everything on trying to stop him. Credit to Bird and Magic, they saved the league, we don't have the MJ highlights if the league was still on tape delay w/no one watching if not for them. Credit to Kobe and Lebron, b/c w/out them who knows how much worse the ratings are after MJ retired. But the MJ had their peak in the 90s b/c of MJ and the Bulls were must watch all over the country.

Wasnt many centers that could really keep him from dunking. I do remember Mutombo blocking him a couple times, alonzo Mourning got him a few times, and shaq gave him trouble around the rim too but in jordans defense he did dunk on all 3 of those guys. Mourning got it more than the other 2 guys tho.

Jordan was so good, IF the opponent held him to 26 pts they had a good night fr
Exactly. His numbers started getting better but the strike made him come back to the NBA.
He was playing at an average type level.
Which is pretty dam good even in AAA
But wasn't a phenom in baseball or anything.
But then you consider he only posted a short time.
Yeah it's kinda amazing can't lie.
He came back cuz it was meant to be. He is BASKETBALL. Period
He was doing ok for being a 31 year old AA ball player.
React to Michael Jordan Defying Gravity that’s the title of the video. The video is amazing.
Look M.Jordan is the GOAT. Greatest Of All Time L.James is the GOAT ..Go On Any Team😂😂😂😂😂
Michael Air Jordan is
The G.O.A.T. EVER !!!
Fan From France 🇨🇵
With all the Lebron comparison Jordan has moved into the ( Immortal Legendary Goat Status )
Well put
Larry Bird is beyond nice dont sleep on him
But MJ is my personal goat
The reason why defenders were so tight on him is because he was such a dead eye shooter
You give him space its dropping and yeah he was also cat like quick and cheetah fast
So thats they also jumped when he made a move...but they figured its better for him to attack the rim and make it more difficult with a big man there then let him shot open shots because he wouldn't miss probably
Jordan was a fantastic passer. He did not do it as often as other players. But when he did, he was very effective.
When you're good, you let everyone know. When you're great, everyone lets you know.
great reactions. ive watched dozens of reactions and you noticed things others missed.
In 200 years from now the NBA will never have a player that could be mvp of any era, like mike could
Great reaction!
Thank you for supporting and I am going to check it out soon!!
Very well said
Every time the Bulls were on NBA on NBC on Sunday afternoon, it was like the Super Bowl.
Had no weakness in his game and will always be the goat
Larry didn’t beat Jordan. The Celtics beat the bulls. Larry never out played Jordan. Jordan has the playoffs record of 63 points against Larry.
There is Mt Rushmorez Then there's those on Mt Rushmore Looking Up as Black Jesus the Goat Flying above Them all.
His palm fakes were sick. Phil Jackson said that’s what gave him the edge over Kobe. He’d just move dudes around with the ball like he was Darth Vader using the force.
Basically every game but for sure every play he was in the game was all out
you understand what truly basketball is 👊🏼 respect
My Young Brutha, nobody is doing what Jordan did, back in the 80's and 90's! They keep trying to put LeBron on the same level as Jordan. But in all honesty, LeBron will never be on Jordan's level! Even with this In-Season Tournament win and MVP. Jordan was a Phenomen! Once in a Lifetime Player! Juuust sayin....🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️
No only did he have a run of 3 straight championships; he came back and won three more in a row. 1991 to 1993 and 1996 to 1998.
That finger wave on Mutumbo WAS a technical foul
Up all night playing cards and some drinking, game day couple games of golf while drinking 10 beers, walk in the arena smoking a cigar worth more than house and dominate both ends of the floor while making his peers look like mid school players. Smh🤯
He came back because Baseball went on a Strike. MJ was and still is the G.O.A.T. You had to just see him play in person.I He was a must see TV.The man’s game was something else. Larry Bird said MJ, was “God” in gym shoes.🐐🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆
Jordan is greatest of ALL time, nobody will be better for all sorts of reasons. Jordan was something else.
i BELIEVE wILT ACTUALLY HAD 50 inches, so it might be 2nd for MJ!!
GOAT and best finisher period
He retired after his father was murdered. Dad always wanted him to be a baseball player, so that what he did as homage to his dad and to work through his grief. Then he came back and won 3 more. MVP of all 6 finals wins. Did not have to travel to be great (labron) and he was never hurt (once minor foot in second yr). He played sick and won.. NBA defensive player of the year 1987-88. Check out the old Spike Lee Nike commericals....Money its gotta be the shoes !
No load management, no flopping.
Them shoes though!”🔥🔥🔥
Starks,Maxwell and Richmond made Mike work but he ultimately prevailed and came out as the winner! The GOAT!
Welcome to the real life guy 😂😂👍🏽
Man, I am 61 years old. Before he came you could be in the front row. We had a lot of fun. But when Jordan got there, the house was full. And we didn't know what was going on. But we found out.
Great reaction

Meet the G.O.A.T of all G.O.A.Ts we call him Air Jordan, His Airness, Flight 23 or simply the greatest basketball player in the history of the game. #23
When he came in the league, he scored 63 points on the Celtics as a newcomer. The Bulls lost the game, but Michael Jordan was named the MVP of the game.
Don't forget that he was latterly the ambassador of global basketball. Once the Dream Team came out, forget about it
21:39 Baseball had a lock out season and then he came back to the NBA.
Great information I didnt know that
People want to know why on two occasions Patrick let Jordan run by him? Patrick was the Knicks dominant scorer, Jordan would attack Patrick, if Patrick tried to stop Jordan every time he would foul out in the first quarter! Patrick was using his head!
And once mj passes him. Jordan is just quick and csn donthat swift dunk leaning front ways to dunk.
I’ve seen lebron fans watch this video and it’s hilarious seeing Lebron fans finally see what we been telling them for years Mj the goat Kobe behind Mj. The 70’s- early 2000’s was the golden age of basketball because of the defense

Correction, Mike was teched up for the finger wag on Mutumbo.
GOAT and its not even close
Excellent, that's the correct way to comment this video , you are reacting to Michael Jeffrey Jordan , the only one how deserve to be named The Goat. And By far!
One thing to also pay attention to is the contact while in the air and notice the no call by the refs...a lot of these plays would be And-1 in this era so imagine another 5-10pts...but back then it was play on
MJ jelly video
The GOAT
It was only that easy for Jordan. Even he said it wasn't easy... we all just thought it looked easy. He was THE ONE
Back when Bird first played MJ, he called him "God disguised as Michael Jordan"
GOAT
If you haven't, react to "Scottie Pippen Retrospective". Jordan is my G.O.A.T., but you'll see why they're arguably the best duo in NBA history and why they have 6 rings
Goat!!!
My Top Three of all Time are #1 Michael Jordan #2 Larry Bird #3 Magic Johnson!

Yes, 63 points against Celtics, all times high for a playoff game.
