I'm a simple man, I see vulfpeck incredibly well explained with top notch editing, I like and subscribe Amazing video dude! I can't understand how you don't have thousands of subs
Stupidly high quality, my man. And it's about one of my favorite contemporary bands. These people are the opposite of a one-hit wonder, just the product of sheer musicianship and charisma.
These guys are... such much more than amazing. When I watched their Madisons Square Garden show on RUclips i literally cried during the video. Such much energy, love and beauty...
No matter how much fun you had, Cory Wong watching Dave Koz and Chris Thiele on "Smile Meditation" had more. One of the best live performance videos ever.
Cooool. I can use this video to explain to people the genius of Vulfpeck. Thanks for a very well-researched and well-put together video. I can tell you love them! Honestly, Vulfpeck is not easy to explain because while I could easily love them just for the music alone, it's just so much more than that. One thing I want to highlight that falls somewhere between Jack's internet skills and collaboration is how they encourage people to film their live shows and share it online, because they understand the impact of the live music. They have tutorial videos on how to play some of their songs. Tbh, I could go on. From all the musicians getting paid equally, to the sheer joy they have doing it and the sheer joy people get from listening to them because they're all amazing musicians and having so much fun---there's so much too love about Vulfpeck.
I'm late to the Vulfpeck party but I'm really glad I'm here. I might be old but I'm still young of heart and they are part of the cure for this nihilistic world I am daily hammered by. Thank you for allowing me to crash the party.
Loved this! Jack's quiet "We did it!" during the final bow of the MSG concert always gets me teary-eyed. They really did do it. Ooh boy, do I love this band.
Thank you, you saved me lots of time. Next time I need to tell someone about Vulfpeck I'll just link this video, which sums everything up in the most perfect way. Well done!
This has become my Vulf 101, line 1 of the syllabus, day 1 of instruction....required viewing. Well done. Thank you. Currently, Vulf is showing to be one of the most consistent creators of content during a pandemic. Even more impressive now. Most musicians have really slowed down on creating content, Not Vulf. Just another tip in their cap.
Bloody amazing video! That MSG show is genuinely one of the best live recordings of all time. I used it as the subject for a video a while back and got really into them because of it. But the bands story is amazing! Good job on this video!
Well done, pretty much accurate. Hopefully some future vulfpeck fans watch this and get inspired to become fans or even try to make their own version of vulfpeck
Thank you! I have another one I think you like about Animal Collective that I just uploaded this weekend, check it out! ruclips.net/video/LTzDvZbbvJA/видео.html
I'm a UofM student and was at North Campus (now at home. Thanks Covid) where the Duderstadt music school is. The Vulf met at Duderstadt. North Campus is on/at the top of a huge hill. So I think Hill Climber might be reference to that.
I’ve been getting a lot of really great comments on this video, but that’s one of the nicest things anyone can say about something you’ve made. Thank you for watching and I’m so glad you enjoyed it
This was great, but I was really hoping to see the band hiking through the Swiss alps, starving for Oxygen while Joe kept them going with pure funk energy.
I believe the concept of the band is that they’re a rhythm section that works with other artists, like session legends funk brothers for example. That explains why Theo is ‘featured’ as a singer even though he also plays drums. Cory, Joey and Antwuan are basically members of the band, it’s just that this shtick means that they will probably forever be known as collaborators
Uhhhh... I graduated Michigan Music in 2008. I swear I saw Vulfpeck shows before 2011 at the Blind Pig and the Heidelberg. Are you sure about the year the band was formed? I could be wrong though. Maybe I saw the Pre-Vulf band, what eventually became Vulf. Memories are weird.
knew all of this already but still enjoyed watching everything second of this
+1
Ditto

Great video, thanks! Kinda like to think Vulfpeck as a modern day Steely Dan in how they approach making music.
can't wait to see what you do next! the pacing and tiny details are amazing, you keep it interesting without it feeling overedited. dope as fuck.
Thank you! I actually just released my latest video on Animal Collective’s My Girls!

How do you play funky songs?
Vulf: Y E S
This was great, but I was really hoping to see the band hiking through the Swiss alps, starving for Oxygen while Joe kept them going with pure funk energy.
It sounds like you did see it ;)
awesome stuff dude
Glad you liked it!
2:05 what? Cory is not an official member of the band?
I think the band likes to say that Vulfpeck is more of an idea now than a specific list of people, but the original band was just the UMichigan guys.
I just treat Cory as a member. It doesn't matter. They are great together.
if someone calls u a Nerd in school, watch this
Great video!! I have subscribed
Glad you enjoyed it! Thank you!

Positive! Seems like their first show at the blind pig is on RUclips actually, and is dated to 2013
Daddy, he got a M a c b o o k.

Hey man loved the video, but i reccomend leveling your voice audio when more intense music is playing, just so the audience can more clearly hear you.
Thanks for the advice! I paid more attention to this in my latest video and believe it’s a lot better
Using “outro” for the outro, nice
Joey Dosik - Saxophonist lol, great vid though
