My friend died on Balboa and as it was his first time playing didn't know where he died, our group spent literally 2 hours running around the island trying to find him, he eventually unstuck and ended up at South Beach but we still couldn't see him! We assume he must have glitched invisible, he was eventually found after unstuck-ing like 3 more times and taken back to the boat
Whoa this glitch happened to me and my friend the other day. We were in caravan island (specifically on a van with tangaroa miniature inside). We were in the exact same spot but couldn't see each other lol

My freind said that i should look at him and I made 360 degree turns looking around for him and he was acting as if I was looking right at him, but he may have just been screwing with me.
I keep very few animals, swapping each out when I find a rare one. (I carry them on to an island and set them free, I don't kill them lol.) I have two llamas (haven't found a rare one yet) and one red clucker. I had a spotted goat, but one day, it was just gone. I moved the whole plot to the roof, hopefully that will help avoid further losses.
A great glitch is if you take the Zipline poles and put them on your raft, connect them in a straight line no diagonal, box yourself in anywhere in the zipline (use the electric zipline holder thing) then connect to the zipline go forward and make sure you can't move forward by putting s half wall Infront of you, spam the keys e q and space bar and hold any item, just spam this and you will be able to fly anywhere you want at fast speeds but your body stays where it left off and you can't get back in it, I call the the soul leaver glitch.

There was that one time Markiplier and his friends were playing thus, and one of them left the raft and went on to balboa. When he returned, his animations were sped up like 3 times. Maybe it’s a similar glitch to the screecher but with the bears?
I found a vertical teleport glitch with beds where if you have a simple bed with a platform 1/2 a wall above it with diagonal walls going as far up as u want them another platform on top when you sleep in the bed and then exit you will be on the top platform
The way to quickly cause your raft or the home screen raft to glitch out and capsize is to alt tab from the game onto a second monitor. The game uses way more CPU power than it needs and makes it pretty hard to do other tasks on your PC while the game is running, but tabbing out causes the game to go crazy. They patched the animals glitching thru fences issue, but the old solution was if you use the normal fence and not the rope or fancy fence the animals won't glitch thru it. But if you didn't have grass beneath them while they were on foundation level they had a chance to just suddenly be in the water as you run them over. This was patched as well as the glitch where if you tapped an island or landmark with your raft they would teleport to that island or building
There is an unstuck feature in the pause menu. Some of their glitched are fixed, but they have added some new ones in Chapter 3... which is version 1.0... the release version. It is a full game now. I had hyenas drag me through a wall. A saw a raining of snow mobiles in the middle of the ocean... about 5-6 of them would appear about 20 feet up and drop into the ocean and repeat. The sharp pathing is fixed so it will attack unarmored sides. I never had my sides armored as they were never attacked. The rear and front were armored and the front was wider. Now that it is fixed the started attacking through an armored net into the block behind it so I had to armor those blocks and the sides of my raft. I have had a few items duplicate when placing an object quickly after picking up an object.
Has no one come across the zombie seagull glitch? Almost every 2nd seagull I killed with bow and arrow on the scarecrow I wouldn't loot because i saw it as a flapping screaming bird which is both alive and dead, other players saw it as dead and could pick it up.
I will have to look but I found a glitch that will either sink your boat or make it fly. the down side is you can control it. I believe it was something to do with changing the resolution in a particular way.
How about that time my raft sunk then flew into the sky? I think an anchor broke it but this did happen I was playing on a laptop that was super laggy and I was on multiplayer with a friend so that’s probably why
the duplication glitch could be fixed if every item would have a specific ID and if the game finds the same item with the same ID then it would delete one of the duplications
i believe the "chair/bed" often referred to as the fly glitch has been patched. Several infamous glitches still around after the latest update: "No Clipping" Grassplot/Rug glitch. You can place items that would normally need a broken platform to place (anchors, engines, electric purifiers, etc). It also works for several other items like all the crop plots, several decorations, etc. Teleporting Bed Glitch: By covering above the bed (roughly half a pillar high) will raise the location your character will stand when awoken. Some often stack these with raised floors or half pillar floors to have their characters wake up at the top of giant towers allowing quick elevation (sorta like the vertical zipline glitch) Single Item Duplication, where you drag items from chest to inventory and let go of mouse and closing chest at the same time. If timing is correct, you'll have a copy of the item in both. Another variation is when you place items into grills/smelters. When pressing 'e' to place an item, pressing 'q' to drop it will create an item dropped and an instance on the grill/smelter.

you can use the hook glitch to throw your hook further and gather materials it normaly couldent reach, i saw a speedrunner use this exact technique.
