- My goal for each box of Pennies I hunt is to get 3 pounds of silver and 10 wheat pennies. Well...this box does much more than that. What a Fantastic Penny Box Hunt ! ! Wheat pennies, good amount of copper for my copper penny hoarding annual goal of 260 pounds of copper pennies. Canadian pennies, and even a King George... Cool Beans ! !

This channel has inspired me to start keeping copper cents, and on my 5th box I got a silver coin! It’s a 1930 20 Centavos! The lowest minted year and it’s slightly more silver weight than a dime. I was surprised it was the exact same diameter. I found my first and only King George on my 7th box it’s 1952. I told myself I’ll stop when I find a gold coin lol.

I have done 20 boxes my 1st box I found 1900 silver great Britton coin so I have found everything poss Inc tons of dimes

I found 2 as well, I can't remember if 1 or both came from CoinStar
Do you get these boxes at the bank? And if so, what do you tell them?
One bank has a standing order, halves and pennies, every week. They know I'm a coin roll hunter. Other banks and branches I just ask if they either have a box or to order a box for me. Most of the time they don't ask. If they do, I tell them . But I don't return coins the same places I get them. That gets them annoyed. But if you have a good relationship with the tellers you might even get away with that.
