All I was trying to do was get my penny back. All these pennies have been rejected by my banks return coin machine. Thats how bad they were. Only worth 1 cent. They were found in junkyard cars, parking lots, laying in the dirt, couchs, just about anywhere you might imagine somebody would discard are lose change. This video is recommended only for cleaning green corroded cents only that aren't being accepted by coin return machines. Not to fancy are doll them up in any way.

The cleaning technique I searched for said use tepid water and gently rub with your finger under a stream of water. Pat dry, do not rub, and do not use a toothbrush. You can use a 100 percent acetone bath(nail polish remover/ must be 100%), and soak for a few moments on each side. Rinse, pat dry with a soft cloth. Brushing strips the detailing, rendering the coins value much less.

These where green yucky ruined cents that had all been rejected from my banks coin machine. After doing this all but a few of them were accepted after I ran them again. I was just trying to get my penny back. Not increase the value sorry for the confusion.

Just by using toothbrush you are damaging coin not that it matters on those coins but say you found a 1969 doubled die with a little corrosion if you did that it would come back as cleaned lowering the value dramatically

I here with pennies that bad you can take them to your local city's treasury department, and the do something with those and old paper currency that falling apart real bad. And then send you a check for the balance. The pennies I was cleaning where ones I found in junkyard cars and parking lots. And before being cleaned the had all been rejected by banks coin counter. Thanks for Watching though. Have a great one
