I don't watch much college football in the last couple of yrs however once my beloved Steelers drafted him, I scoured the net for highlight films. Wow! this dude is like what?! generational talent? his speed and motor and how he runs down opposing players...Steel curtain pedigree

Pittsburgh loves the Steelers and especially the linebackers. All PW needs to do is knock the shit out of a few folks and he will be royalty in the Burgh.
Well when PW chases down Lamar and knocks him into next year, you will know how good of a decision it was to draft him.

I definitely felt disrespected for Peyton. Panthers hugely crapped their bed. Have never been a Steelers fan, but now gonna show a little love while he plays for Steel Town.
Panthers fans are probably the most agitated about it. Had multiple chances to take him. Big missed opportunity

Im a new yorker and have been coming to the burgh since the 70s as a kid, still make my pilgrimage there bi yearly to catch a game and if they are in my area, I will catch a game, I'm a fan for life.

I’m not concerned about Peyton Wilson’s injury history. He is, hands down, the best ILB in the 2024 draft. He and Patrick Queen have the potential to make for the best ILB duo in the league.
Keep in mind that the Steelers drafted TE, Heath Miller in the 2005 draft at #30. Heath fell that far down because he had hernia surgery. Teams were unwilling to draft him except for the Steelers.
As it turned out Miller retired as the all-time leader in receptions (592), receiving yards (6,569) and receiving touchdowns (45) by a tight end. He was a member of the Steelers' Super Bowl XL and XLIII Championship teams, a two-time Pro Bowl selection, and team MVP in 2012.
The two words that describe most of the Steelers’ draft class are, ‘high pedigree’. Once again Steelers’ GM, Omar Khan and Assistant GM, Andy Weidl pulled of another amazing and highly productive draft. They deftly accomplished getting outstanding value. They acquired intelligent, high character players that are at the top of this draft class. Getting Peyton Wilson, the best ILB in this class, where they did was ridiculously fortuitous.
The thought of having newly signed free agent ILB, Patrick Queen playing along side of Peyton Wilson should scared the 💩 out of the rest of the AFCN teams. They’re both very fast, intelligent and relentlessly tenacious. It’s going to be fun watching the Ravens’ newly signed RB, Derrick Henry try to outrun these two.

Payton Wilson is definitely with the right program. He will absolutely thrive with the Pittsburgh Steelers. Remember me, Grayson, when we see Payton playing for a Superbowl title and owning a starting position. LOL(So happy for him). Now, if I see Brennan Armstrong make a roster, preferably the Panthers roster, I will absolutely lose it. LOL.

Panthers missed on an opportunity to solidify and expand its fan base if they drafted Payton Wilson. I was in the Sandbar Saturday night watching Kenny Chesney thinking this is what I will go to BOA for now or in the future. Go Steelers! I’m done with the Panthers.

It's always felt like there's been a special connection between the Steelers and WPN. Now we only have more reason to be fanboys.

I agree Payton has the talent but I really think he needs 20 or 30 lbs to make a serious impact. Those NFL running backs are bigger and stronger.
I suspect he'll work extremely hard to get his body right
