Hi Folks,
I keep trying to integrate the modular synth with the circuit track and bringing everything back into the cassette recorder.
This marantz is performing better than i expected, I really like the color saturation and compression.
As in the previous video, everything recorded live directly onto the tape (except the vocals, I had to do it otherwise they wouldn't come out in the mix)
in post production, I just put some EQ and a stock reaper limiter on the music to raise the volume
I saw this guy's cover ‪@JulienHauspie‬ done entirely with a minilogue and fell in love with the photography and the sound. Since I don't have my minilogue with me at the moment I wanted to re-propose the theme with this setup. Checkout his version:
